Not only do Evan and Mike of Toronto duo, Torro Torro, make the best gifs in the game for their seasonal mixtapes, they also curate one hell of a tracklist. After racking up a ton of attention this week with their Beatport-charting remixes for Zedd and Zed’s Dead (both included in this mix), Torro Torro have put together a pumping selection of new tunage — GTA’s “Hit It,” Diplo & DJ Fresh’s “Up (Earthquake)”, and ETC!ETC!’s “How You Like Me Now” to name a few. The guys are having a busy March along with the rest of us, hitting SxSW and Miami along with a string of West Coast gigs peppered throughout. Catch all of their tour dates here and grab the mix below!

One of my favorite groups in the trap music realm, Keys N Krates, have revitalized Zedd‘s once progressive house tune, “Follow You Down,” in bass heavy Southern hip-hop fashion. By taking a few elements from the original track, dropping the BPM, and applying their own originative flare and sound, they’ve successfully crafted a stellar floor filler remix.

Keys N Krates have quite the schedule ahead of them as they will be embarking on a Winter tour starting November 1st running through December 31st. Also, they’ve been working diligently on a new EP that is set to drop in the new year. Listen/Download this remix, see if they’re playing in a city near you, and be on the look out for announcements about their new EP!

Playing classical music was of the utmost importance in the early years of JackLNDN, but after his first visit to Ibiza as a teen, the trajectory of his life was changed dramatically. Electronic dance music had taken a hold of him, and he quickly embraced the scene as a DJ, then inevitably as a producer. Not only has he already shared the stage with several of the biggest names in the industry such as Annie Mac, Pendulum, Skream, and Crookers, but he has also been developing his fresh, unique style that evades categorization by his incorporation of multiple genres into an individual track. With his musical background that well exceeds his age of 20 years old, his potential is seemingly endless, and I’m looking forward to watch him grow and establish himself further. Listen and vote for his excellent remix of Zedd‘s “Spectrum,” and grab the GDD exclusive free download of his massive electro-house tune, “Regnab.” ‘s on the Hype Machine are always appreciated as well.

The up and coming duo behind Stormtrooper masks from Burlington, Vermont just sent over their submission for Zedd‘s ‘Spectrum’ remix competition which is currently being held on Beatport. We’ve heard a number of entries to the competition thus far on Soundcloud and other sites, but this one from Lazerdisk Party Sex really embraces the Pop sensibilities of Zedd’s original and makes it even more open to mainstream listeners; drawing influence from Pop, Disco, and Electro to create a well-produced remix. Have a listen/download below, and if you dig it make sure to help the guys out and vote over at Beatport. Continue Reading
