New York’s burgeoning producer/DJ duo, Solidisco, brings a modern edge to the classic house sound, riding on the fringes of Studio 54 sensibilities. They consistently bring the funk and keep it groovy – as proven by their latest jam, “Top of the World” featuring Skyy. For this week’s GDD™ Guest Mix, Solidisco offers up a tasteful concoction of only their own originals, bootlegs, remixes, and unreleased tracks. Download/listen below and mark your calendars for Solidisco‘s remix of Mystery Skulls’ “Ghost,” featured alongside Fred Falke, Claude VonStroke, and Viceroy for a massive remix package out on February 18th.
Vegas can be frustrating. There are long lines, seemingly indiscriminate door policies, and, with the recent openings of a few more mega-clubs, so many options to choose from on a nightly basis. EDC Week, as it’s now called, has got to be one of the busiest weekends of the year in the City of Sin, and that’s why GDD™ has teamed up with our friends from Mandalay Bay’s new shining gem LIGHT to make your life just a little bit easier.
We’ll be giving away ONE PAIR of tickets to a lucky dirty dancer that will grant the winner and a friend access to every LIGHT-affiliated property and each of their events from June 19th through the 23rd. That line-up includes a variety of pool parties and nighttime affairs with some of dance music’s biggest stars, including Zedd, Alesso, Baauer, Skrillex, Nicky Romero, and Krewella.
Simply like both The Light Vegas and Gotta Dance Dirty Facebook pages, and comment on THIS FACEBOOK POST with an @tag for the friend you’d like to bring with you! This contest will only run until tomorrow, June 18, at 11:59pm PDT, so don’t delay! Winner will be messaged on Facebook! Full list of events after the jump…
Not only do Evan and Mike of Toronto duo, Torro Torro, make the best gifs in the game for their seasonal mixtapes, they also curate one hell of a tracklist. After racking up a ton of attention this week with their Beatport-charting remixes for Zedd and Zed’s Dead (both included in this mix), Torro Torro have put together a pumping selection of new tunage — GTA’s “Hit It,” Diplo & DJ Fresh’s “Up (Earthquake)”, and ETC!ETC!’s “How You Like Me Now” to name a few. The guys are having a busy March along with the rest of us, hitting SxSW and Miami along with a string of West Coast gigs peppered throughout. Catch all of their tour dates here and grab the mix below!
In order to win: Share, Like, re-post, up-post, down-post, re-tweet, bada beep, bada boop, & tag both @gottadancedirty and @wintersaltsf telling us what artist you’re most excited to see. Basically let your presence be known, you can even leave a comment below

One of my favorite groups in the trap music realm, Keys N Krates, have revitalized Zedd‘s once progressive house tune, “Follow You Down,” in bass heavy Southern hip-hop fashion. By taking a few elements from the original track, dropping the BPM, and applying their own originative flare and sound, they’ve successfully crafted a stellar floor filler remix.
Keys N Krates have quite the schedule ahead of them as they will be embarking on a Winter tour starting November 1st running through December 31st. Also, they’ve been working diligently on a new EP that is set to drop in the new year. Listen/Download this remix, see if they’re playing in a city near you, and be on the look out for announcements about their new EP!
GLOWFest is a pretty wild music festival touring college campuses. Here, we get an inside look into the antics, situations and parties on the road they call their lives. And they’re looking to add to this team…
Playing classical music was of the utmost importance in the early years of JackLNDN, but after his first visit to Ibiza as a teen, the trajectory of his life was changed dramatically. Electronic dance music had taken a hold of him, and he quickly embraced the scene as a DJ, then inevitably as a producer. Not only has he already shared the stage with several of the biggest names in the industry such as Annie Mac, Pendulum, Skream, and Crookers, but he has also been developing his fresh, unique style that evades categorization by his incorporation of multiple genres into an individual track. With his musical background that well exceeds his age of 20 years old, his potential is seemingly endless, and I’m looking forward to watch him grow and establish himself further. Listen and vote for his excellent remix of Zedd‘s “Spectrum,” and grab the GDD™ exclusive free download of his massive electro-house tune, “Regnab.” ♥‘s on the Hype Machine are always appreciated as well.
