November has been very kind to Amtrac fans. A handful of remixes and a collaboration track with Kastle have kept his name in the house headlines during the past month and, with another remix released today, he shows no signs of slowing. His latest endeavor is a remix of Wolfgang Gartner’s single “Unholy,” and the bassline certainly does the title justice. This bouncy remix quickly takes the track from the radio waves to the underground — look out for it’s official release on December 1.

Did you somehow miss Wolfgang Gartner on his recent Love & War tour? Well shame on you, nothing beats the live experience…BUT do we have a treat for all those who missed out! We just came across this recording of Wolfgang’s 2 hour live set at the Palladium a month ago and just had to share it with you all!
The set brings back some wicked memories of the night and features several unreleased tracks too. Nothing more satisfying than finally finding out the name of the unknown track that has been stuck in my head for over a month! “Evil Lurks” by Wolfgang and Tom Staar – watch for it at 40min in.
Kindergarten Recordings is quickly turning into one of my favorite labels to watch. With past releases from Popeska and Tom Staar, Wolfgang Gartner’s team continues to find the best and the brightest rising talent around, and they made no exception with the young Charlie Darker. “Pacific” has an anthem feel to it with its melodic, yet punchy synth lines; and “Atlantic” starts with the same kind of vibes but is slightly darker and brings out some funky bass. Perhaps they reflect the different, yet similar, feel of the party scene on the opposing coasts? You tell me:
HARD returned to NYC (and LA) this past weekend to bring us a bangin’ showcase of Wolfgang Gartner, Proxy, L-Vis 1990 and Popeska at Terminal 5. Already a huge fan of HARD events, I jumped at the chance to see this power lineup and to finally get a glimpse of Wolf’s awesome stage production that I kept hearing about from his Love & War tour.
It’s been a couple of months since I first heard Pierce Fulton’s take on The Killers single “Runaway” and I’ve honestly been counting down the days until I could own it. Well its finally out on Beatport and I couldn’t be happier!
As an unabashed fan of both The Killers and Pierce Fulton I was anxious to see how this track would turn out, but Pierce takes everything I love about the original and creates this melodic and uplifting electro masterpiece. It’s all about the subtleties.
If you want some more Pierce Fulton action, make sure to check out his latest Get Weird. Made while he was on the Love & War tour with Wolfgang Gartner and Popeska, definitely worth a listen:
Wolfgang Gartner‘s Kindergarten Recordings is back with this teaser for their newest artist Tom Staar, and we fucking love it. You may know Staar as a founding member/studio head of London’s infamous Moda collective or from any number of his fantastic remixes (most recently for Swedish House Mafia and Afrojack). However, be prepared to hear his name (and this track) everywhere once this release is out Oct 22nd.
After a massive response from their hard-hitting bootleg of Funky Vodka, the rising duo NO BODY have answered back quickly with 2 remix versions for Wolfgang Gartner‘s newest single ‘Redline.’ The deluxe version features a certain anthemic vocal for those big room lovers, while the instrumental mix focuses on piping electro lead (similar to Nicky Romero’s ‘Toulouse’) that does justice to the cheesy chords of the original. Once again, NO BODY takes things to a higher and heavier level. Grab them both below, and decide which is your fav!
The lineup and tour dates for the second year of the touring Identity Festival have been officially announced this morning, and we’re excited about the headliners this year. It seems as if Eric Prydz has overcome his fear of flying and will be making his first return to the United States since 2010 to headline this year’s festival. Some other notable acts on the bill this year are young guns Madeon and Porter Robinson, Dubstep dons Excision and Nero, and of course, Wolfgang Gartner. Tickets have gone on sale today for the low price of $25. Get ’em before they’re gone!
