This Friday, we turn a milestone and celebrate the 4 year anniversary of the storied Los Angeles party CONTROL @ The Avalon. Hosting many of the top artists from around the globe over the past four years, it has been an incredible experience being apart of this iconic LA event and we couldn’t be happier to continue helping make history every week…
To help ring in the anniversary, UK wizards Jack Beats will grace the decks, along with trap heavyweight Carnage and the hard hitting Whiiite. Supporting the night will be a special b2b set by CONTROL residents BONES and Sam Hiller, and a closing set by Mister Blaqk. *This event will reach capacity early, so please RSVP below and arrive before doors to guarantee entry!

Whiiite‘s debut EP, Whiiite Begins, has truly put this producer on the map. Shrouded in darkness and mystery, Whiiite brings an amalgam of bass music in his productions and performances, and the range of genres has opened wider with 6 new remixes of the initial release. You’ll hear bits of Electro, Techno, Dubstep, Trap, and more in the remix EP — featuring new takes from Vandalism & Mr. Fluff, Calvertron, Sharooz, ETC!ETC!, Protohype, and a free Big Room-er from our buddy Fyor which you can grab below. Pick up the whole thing on Beatport now.
Well this should be a rager. We’ve teamed up with Hyundai‘s Re:Mixlab and Elektro Magazine for a FREE event this Saturday in Downtown Los Angeles with a festival-style lineup including Switch, Brenmar, BetaTraXx, Whiiite, Bones, and Bixel Boys. If the lineup and free entry didn’t give you some movement in the lumber yard, how about an open bar from doors until close? Yep, it’s happening.
RSVP is required for entry. Just sign up HEREand arrive early!
The mysterious, Whiiite, has finally released his debut EP, Whiiite Begins, today on Australian imprint, Vicious Bitch, and I have to say that the 5 original productions have greatly exceeded my expectations. Pulling sounds across multiple bass-heavy genres, Whiiite creates a tasteful, well-produced debut — showcasing a mastery of technique and skill in the studio.
The EP features collaborations with some great up and coming talent including Valentino Khan (“Paradise”) and Kids At The Bar (“Torment”), and swoops across Electro, Dubstep, Drumstep, and more with ease throughout the EP. Stream below and pick it up on Beatport.
We’re approaching the end of October, and Halloween plans and parties are being organized, but no matter where you are this weekend or next week, you’ll be sure to hear some creative ways in which artists and DJs include ghoulish Halloween sounds into their sets. Mysterious LA producer, Whiiite, is fully aware of this and has conveniently put together an 8-pack of free bootlegs from him and his friends (Valentino Khan, Cold Blank, ETC!ETC!, and more) to get your Halloween set festively fun. While you’re throwing Valentino’s “Psycho Theme” or Whiiite’s Nightmare Before Christmas booty in your mix this week, make sure to check out this trailer for his forthcoming debut EP, Whiiite Begins, due out on Vicious next Monday.
The roaring production of the mysterious WHIIITE has struck again – this time with a giveaway sinster moombahcore bootleg remix of Birdy Nam Nam & Skrillex’s “Goin In”, and his heavy-hitting official remix for Cypress Hill & Rusko’s “Shots Go Off.” I would say don’t sleep on these tracks, but after you listen you won’t be able to anyway. BOOM.
Leading up to only his second live performance tomorrow night @ CONTROL, the elusive DJ/producer known as WHIIITE has released a free bootleg remix package for his fans, CONTROL-goers, and bass lovers alike. The 4-pack bundle gives you heavy hitting versions of Martin Solveig’s “The Night Out”, Knife Party’s “Fire Hive”, Gemini’s “Fire Inside”, and his Dim Mak released “Activate” remix for Atari Teenage Riot. Follow the link below to his facebook page to download and check out the video from his debut performance last December @ Avalon.
This week @ CONTROL features a serious medley of BASS. All the way from Brazil – the massive DirtyLoud will be gracing the decks, along with the chi-town heavy-hitter Lucky Date and only the second ever shot by the mysterious WHIIITE. Supporting sets will be provided by Sam Hiller and DigitaLife. If your down for the big noise, this is in the must attend category. This event will reach capacity, so make sure to RSVP and arrive before 1030pm!

To wrap up the end of the year and welcome 2012 with a (serious) bang, CONTROL brings you its final event of 2011 with the seismic sounds of Dub Police don Caspa, along with our own LA bad-man Dillon Francis. Making his triumphant return to his residency will be Whiiite (aka DJ Mr. White). Support will be issued by the likes of Kedd Cook, Frenetic and OHAY. As pre-sales have already sold out, we will have a VERY limited guest list which will be honored on a first come – first served basis. Receiving RSVP confirmation does NOT guarantee you entry, so please arrive before doors open @ 9PM.

GDD ROOM TAKEOVER:
Our very own GDD room (The Jerry Louis Room) will be taken over by the tech/deep/minimal/fidget sounds of our good friends Gotsu, Go Funk Yourself, and Justin Campbell. Located to the right of the main stage and hidden the back right corner of the Avalon, it’s the room with the small bar, big bass and spiral staircase! TUNAGE (FREE DOWNLOADS):
Following his successful remix for iSquare’s massive Hey Sexy Lady EP, LA’s own Whiiite (formerly DJ Mr. White) brings two more monsters to the table. The Atari Teenage Riot remix has just been released on Dim Mak records, and recent collaboration with bass brilliant Flinch made the cut for Skylar Grey’s Invisible EP (alongside huge remixes by Kaskade, Dirty South, John Dahlback, and Fred Falke). Check out the video preview and download links below, and grab our exclusive bootleg he made for Laidback Luke’s ‘Till Tonight.’
