Coming off a huge festival performance at Spring Awakening in Chicago, HARD fest maestro Gary Richards aka Destructo will be taking over VERSUS this Thursday @ The Central in Santa Monica. Rumor has it that he’s bringing a very special secret guest that you do NOT want to miss. Supporting the night will be our very own Bones and Danceism’s Ben Oprstu, with an opening set by MURDA. This brooklyn native recently moved to LA – he’s a trouble maker, a heavy bass champion, and is responsible for two serious record labels. To kick things off proper for the start of madness in the desert, VERSUS this week we’ll feature some heavy artillery to get your Coachella juices flowing. Making a stop on their US Tour, the Italian bad boys Blatta & Inesha will be gracing the decks for their second time. On top of that, we have the LA debut from the NY-based hood haus sounds of RL Grime. Supporting the night will be local heroes Matzerath (Dim Mak), Bangarang, and Zach V. This thursday, the one and only Will Bailey will be making the US debut as his underground moniker LOW STEPPA. On top of that, his partner in crime (on the hugely supported moombah anthem ‘Ruckus’) Valentino Khan will be dropping a set, as well as techniquq mgmt / iheartradio’s Sam Hiller. Supporting the night will also be sets by Evan Koncan and Redbull’s Ryan Lassi.
