To celebrate his day of birth, the Vancouver based Pat Lok offers up a deeper flip of Usher’s anthem “Yeah”. The original’s vocals got any party started, and with the house vibes delivered on this version it’ll be sure to keep it going into the afterhours…
Today is my birthday so I wanted to give you something as a small token of my appreciation – this flip of Usher’s club classic. Thank you so much for all your support this year and hopefully you’ll stick with me for what comes next. 2015 is shaping up to be very exciting and I look forward to seeing you on a dancefloor soon! – Pat Lok

Aptly described as, “Garage Sex,” via their Soundcloud genre classification, WMNSTUDIES bring their spacey soundscapes to somewhat of a new sound. Usher’s voice gets chopped and screwed as WMNSTUDIES comes in with a springing garage-y bassline and some industrial echoey synths to complement. It’s a different kind of dance tune that makes you want to grab your partner and two-step around the dancefloor.
Berklee College of Music graduate, Matt Lange, might just be one of the next best producers to look out for in my personal opinion. Piqued by his inclusion in Usher’s remix EP on RCA, I investigated Matt Lange and his back catalogue, and I was astonished not only by the amount of work this guy has put out already but the extreme diversity of his sound production. His focus is seemingly similar to that of Seven Lions; morphing Trance, Progressive House, Dubstep, and Glitch in a way that shouldn’t sound good but really, truly does. I encourage you to check out all of his tunes over on Soundcloud, and make sure to give a listen to this incredibly sultry remix of ‘Numb’ below. √+

The new single from Usher has immersed itself completely in the dance music community in the past few weeks, with a staggering 9 acclaimed producers remixing the original for RCA. Today, 3 producers from Europe that you wouldn’t really expect to hop on board an Usher track have done just that; with Marble‘s Surkin, Made to Play‘s Oliver $, and the French supergroup, Club Cheval, all trying their hand at the commercial release. Stream all 3 of them and find out which one is my favorite below. Continue Reading

Last Friday, we premiered the excellent Keys N Krates remix of Madeon’s “Icarus”, and it’s our pleasure to announce that we have another heater from the Toronto trio to welcome you into the weekend. They’ve been working diligently with their recent string of remix releases and not only is it great for their deserved recognition, but also for us listeners with top quality material to enjoy. Keys N Krates exercise their vision and signature fusion sound with this latest remix of the acclaimed “Climax” by Usher & Diplo. As expected, it’s another awesome track, but this time they’re bringing a lively big room feel, so waste no more time and listen/download in the artwork above. Go ♥ it on the Hype Machine!
