I’m sure we can all agree on the respect and appreciation of artists that are pioneering new frontiers in dance music. My latest music discovery, a visionary rising star from Isreal that goes by the name Maor Levi, is doing just that. The lines between genres continue to blur, and Maor is responsible for taking trance on the ride of a lifetime by incorporating a much heavier dubstep and electro-influenced style fit for massive main stage sound systems. With support from the likes of Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Arty, and Mark Knight, among many others, it’s clear that we have something truly special on our hands. You know it’s going to be an interesting day when you wake up to the sight of 6:45 am on the clock and you’re exhausted from partying to the sounds of SBTRKT, Laidback Luke, 2manydjs, Fatboy Slim, and Rusko the night before at HARD Haunted Mansion.
