After becoming the most talked about party in Los Angeles, AC Slater‘s NIGHT BASS movement set out on a 12 dates in 12 days tour with bass house heavyweights Jack Beats, Hannah Wants, Kry Wolf and the man himself. The tour was a success in every city they invaded, but something special was planned for its LA date this past Friday, October 10th. AC Slater teamed up with HARD to bring together one massive event in the warehouse district of downtown Los Angeles, where the infamous Lot 613 was set to play home to the festivities. With the help of Gary Richards and the HARD team, NIGHT BASS quickly became the hype of the weekend and sold out before the night even started.

Room 1 featured the tour lineup, along with NIGHT BASS residents BONES & Petey Clicks. They got things started quickly, as the room filled up and packed out within the first hour. The much anticipated Hannah Wants came after with a huge set, followed by the chief AC Slater bringing it heavy and Jack Beats keeping the energy so alive it was literally spilling out of the room. Capping off the night was a secret set from Kry Wolf, who let his jackin vibes speak for themselves as the night went into the early morning.

Along with the tour lineup, AC brought in friends to take care of room 2: Anna Lunoe, Treasure Fingers, Amtrac, Light Year and Jen Lasher to the rescue. Room 2 was equally slammed, a wider room layout but just as crazy as it’s heavier neighbor. Only in LA can so many incredible artists happen to be in the same town on multiple tour schedules that culminate to one massive experience. The hype was so real that other big names in dance music couldn’t stay away. The likes of Boys Noize, Nadastrom, Kaskade, GTA, Destructo, Jauz, Brazzabelle, and even Valentino Khan‘s mustache we’re all in attendance.

The NIGHT BASS movement proved that it’s hear to stay, and its home is in Los Angeles. The tour dominated its 12 show routing across the US, and looks forward to continuing its monthly series here in LA along with new tours and festival stages in the works… be on the lookout for live set recordings from the whole night and more info on upcoming events!

Treasure Fingers and buzzing Atlanta singer/songwriter BOSCO have joined forces to bring you one glossy, swagilicious and savory summertime jam. BOSCO’s vocals are straight up BOSSAY, while Mr. Fingers’ keen hands serves us a delicious amount of cowbell intermixed with a plethora of grooves – which as a result, delivers a vogue-ready, street struttin’, feel good tune. “Names” is out 7/29 on Fools Gold Records.

Last week, Treasure Fingers dropped a wobbly, club monster in the form of Honey Dip. While he reigned supreme for years at that top of the ‘nu-disco’ field, it appears he’s since disavowed his affiliation with the glazed genre and shifted efforts to making some manic house tracks, and we really couldn’t be any happier. Today, we’re premiering the Sluggers remix of said track. After gaining a bit of momentum with releases on OWSLA and Fools Gold, the Miami duo are quickly carving out a name for themselves. Enjoy their free download of Honey Dip below, and get hyped to hear more from these new kids on the block.

NEST031 -- FINAL

GDD™ fav, Anna Lunoe, has released a 2-track EP today on Skrillex’s free imprint, Nest, and it’s quite the beast. The title track, “Bass Drum Dealer” or “BDD” for short, boasts some insane tribal percussion, a wicked halftime breakdown, and, of course, some √+ vocals from the Australian producer. The B-side, “Bad MF,” sees Anna Lunoe teaming up with Treasure Fingers for a West Coast House jam with pitched down vox and a mighty fine groove. As with all Nest releases, the tunes are available for free download via Nest’s Soundcloud. Get ready to hear this one out this summer. √+

Treasure Fingers dropped off his amazing remix of Tatiana Owens‘s new track, Beautiful People, out earlier on T&A Records earlier today. It’s a quite bouncy disco-tech vibe with some amazing vocal work laced on top.

Turns out they extended their remix contest for the original track until January 14th, where the full Remix package EP, also featuring GDD bud, Them Jeans, will be released as well. Full Details HERE.

Anna x TF

Anna Lunoe is dominating right now.  The slick remixes for her hit single are out (featuring remixes by Treasure Fingers, Cosmos Midnight, Danny T, Sleepy Tom & Wordlife).  Her clothing line is fly.  Her artwork is dope (I obviously haven’t updated my vernacular since “In Living Color”).  And her new video for “Breathe” is a smashing success.

Today we’re featuring the ultra bad-ass Treasure Fingers remix of “Breathe”.  Treasure Fingers flexes some serious dancefloor muscle with this booming Miami Bass/Freestyle remix.  Serious pop n’ lock vibes.

Night Drive are a duo whose name perfectly encapsulates not only their sound but also their mission.  Their sound is a non-stop expedition into the future of electro pop.  And if recalibrating the future of electro pop is their mission, then the future looks bright (neon bright).  On their new track, “Sea of Light”, Night Drive fuse together all the right elements of disco, electro + new wave to create another plush piece of future electro pop.  To help lend a hand to the mission, Night Drive have also enlisted another agent, Treasure Fingers, whose remix expedition takes us on a dreamy, retro-futuristic synth pop ride.

Additional “Sea of Light” remixes by Justin Faust, Kulkid and Elektromekanik will be out August 27th followed by the release of their self titled debut EP on September 3rd via Robot Dance Records.  And don’t miss out on their U.S. tour with Tesla Boy, Gold Fields and Rush Midnight (dates listed below).

In the meantime, catch a glimpse of the future…
