Our friends at Prep School Recordings continue their introductions with breakthrough artist The Supertraxxe, releasing their new single “Can’t Believe It” today for FREE via their soundcloud. Somewhere between a soulful groove and a hard edge, The Supertraxxe have found their sound in a modern imagination of the classic disco house sound. This Friday @ CONTROL brings another trifecta of talent, showcasing huge club disco tracks each with a distinct flavor. We welcome back veterans Treasure Fingers and Burns, and get an Avalon debut from Slow Roast young gun Codes. The local support couldn’t be a better pairing – an opening set by our very own Burn Unit, and the lovely Brazzabelle to close out the night. *This event will reach capacity early, so please RSVP below and arrive before doors to guarantee entry!

RAC – Solé Fixtape Vol. 3


The Fixtape series by Solé Bicycles is quickly becoming a staple as a go-to for monthly mixtapes. The tasteful selections of artists amongst the moniker, “Music to ride off into the future to,” is right up our alley. Previous Tapes have included Tropicool & Treasure Fingers and although this tape series is young, we believe it to prosperous and keep you grooving for a while. This month’s timeless selections come from none other than Portland based RAC. They seamlessly create a beautiful flowing atmosphere with that classic RAC touch.

3/22: Pyramid Club Miami ft Tensnake, Fred Falke, Treasure Fingers + more

In just a few days, thousands of vagabond partiers will flock onto the shores of Miami eager to experience the glorious week long extravaganza that we call WMC. In between yacht parties and after-hours sets, Gotta Dance Dirty, along with Overthrow, Embrace, and Karma Loop, will be presenting Pyramid Club Miami at Mamushka’s on March 22, featuring Tensnake, Fred Falke, Treasure Fingers + more.  It’s been a few years since I fell in love with Tensnake’s tropical anthem ‘Coma Cat‘, and as this will be his first trip to Miami, I’m extremely excited to see him perform.
