To celebrate the 4th day of our GDD advent calendar, we’ve teamed up with Wooha! Records to bring you a huge exclusive from dutch duo Mightyfools. The recent release of their BITCHES EP on Wooha has gained massive support from the likes of Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Skream & Benga, and The Partysquad. However, they’ve been keeping a VIP trap remix to themselves… UNTIL TODAY – for us to give to you!

What does Alex Metric, Aeroplane, and UZ have in common? The next OWSLA release – Ammunition Pt. 2

The London-based Alex Metric saw a massive response earlier in the year for his chord-stabbing anthem ‘Rave Weapon’, gaining widespread  support and the attention of Skrillex and his collective label OWSLA. They’ve teamed up together to release the remix EP, boasting three stunning remixes from the Italo maestro Aeroplane, the mysterious UZ, and Dirtybird newcomer Mark Starr – you couldn’t ask for a better trifecta of difference.

*The EP is due out December 3rd worldwide, and also features the original mix plus (2) new originals ‘Prophecies’ and ‘Motion Study’. Check them all out below!

Free Willy Wednesdays  is Back

Willy Joy has been hard at work in the studio and the result is finally here – a 15-track mixtape entitled “WILDLIFE”. More an unofficial solo album than just another Trap mix, WILDLIFE is a blistering 45-minute ride through Willy’s new bone-crunching bass and neck-breaking beats, all mixed to perfection by the man himself. RL Grime has the trillest costume on the block today with his † HALLOWEEN MIX 2012 †, with the Goosebumper RL Stine himself co-signing on a creepy intro for the thing.  Haunted-ass trap chopped up with creepy goodies galore… and “CLIQCLIQ- ??????”  Huge.  I’m trying to get real scared and keeping this on repeat for a couple hours.

One of my favorite groups in the trap music realm, Keys N Krates, have revitalized Zedd‘s once progressive house tune, “Follow You Down,” in bass heavy Southern hip-hop fashion. By taking a few elements from the original track, dropping the BPM, and applying their own originative flare and sound, they’ve successfully crafted a stellar floor filler remix.

Keys N Krates have quite the schedule ahead of them as they will be embarking on a Winter tour starting November 1st running through December 31st. Also, they’ve been working diligently on a new EP that is set to drop in the new year. Listen/Download this remix, see if they’re playing in a city near you, and be on the look out for announcements about their new EP!

We’ve had the pleasure of premiering several Keys n Krates tracks in the past, and today, we’re keeping it going, but in a different sense. The one and only Keys N Krates DJ, Flowinsky, has put together a hot 30-minute mix of his current favorite trap. Not only does it have Flowinsky’s precise and tasteful selections, but it also contains a demo version of a new Keys N Krates track on their upcoming EP. The surges in popularity of genres and new styles of electronic music bring on countless up-and-coming producers trying to prove their worth, whether jumping on the bandwagon or actually standing out from the crowd. We saw it with the dutch-house craze, the rise of complextro, the birth of moombahton, and now with an EDM-driven revival of “Trap” music. Of course there’s gonna be fathoms of garbage, but there is a silver lining… finding gems of production amidst the masses. Though the recent Trap faze is still young, Miami based Mister Gray has evolved his sound over the years to execute a successful variety of remixes and DJ bootlegs that have seen widespread support from the biggest guns in the industry.

Mister Gray‘s newest work encompasses crowd pleasing bootlegs with a Trap backbone, covering the party dj set on all fronts. Whether for your DJ sets or just party playlist, look no further than the tunes below and the many FREE bootlegs found on MG’s soundcloud!
