Aside from the fact that Without You, the collaborative effort between two long-time GDD™ favorites Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Dillon Francis, is an absolutely beautiful and uplifting song, the music video and tune are now being utilized for a beautiful and uplifting cause. This is what dance music is all about. Big up to Dillon, Flosstradamus for the apparent inspiration, and to TEED and Dillon for being both extremely talented and cool dudes. Crosstown Rebels has enlisted T-E-E-D. to mix the Get Lost VI compilation, getting us very excited for perhaps our finest night of the summer, if not the year… GET LOST LA. Digging very deep, quirky, soulful, a very nice eclectic mix of treats and treasures– particularly the end of track #4, Axel Boman – Klinsmann. So cosmic.
Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs released his first mix CD last week as the Get Lost VI compilation for Crosstown Rebels, featuring 2CDs, 32 tracks, and over 140 minutes of music. Debuting on this compilation is the new collaboration between Orlando (TEED) and Eats Everything titled “Lion, The Lion.” The new single, available only on Get Lost VI as of now, reaches into the Techno/Tech House world and is not immediately recognizable as something you’d usually hear from either of these UK producers. It’s gritty, spacey, and experimental; definitely an awesome synergy occurring here…

Dan Pearce AKA Eats Everything will be kicking off his EDIBLE Tour this weekend in the UK, and the lineups that the jolly gentleman has curated for the 4-date tour this month are nothing short of spectacular. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Catz N Dogz, T. Williams, and Richy Ahmed are just some of the talent joining Eats throughout May, including a blowout last tour stop in his hometown of Bristol. Additionally, included in this teaser video is another new collaboration between Eats and fellow dirtybird, Justin Martin, and it’s too damn good. I overheard that these guys have been making a number of tracks together in the past year, so I guess we’ll see how they end up getting released. I’m getting my hopes up for an LP. This one, “The Gettup,” will be released on dirtybird in early June.

Yesterday saw the release of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs‘ latest video for “Your Love;” the bouncy, vocal-driven single from Orlando’s debut full length, Trouble. Consistent with TEED’s prior music videos, the visual accompaniment for “Your Love” is marvelously artistic. Have a look.
