Since his recent emergence, the rising tropical house specialist, Bearson, has been racking up SoundCloud plays, reaching over 2 million on his assortment of chilled-out remixes. Clearly, this 19-year-old is carving out his own place on an international stage as he follows in the footsteps of his fellow Norwegian, Kygo. After dropping his remix of The Lighthouse and the Whaler’s “Venice” last week, Bearson is quick to the draw, delivering a refreshing guest mix of sun-kissed house that’ll keep the Fall season at bay, as long as you’re listening.

It’s almost Halloween! To get the festivities going, our friends over @ Prep School Recordings just released the LA-based Wilks ‘Bring Me Home’ EP. The haunting vocals of Bria park are accompanied by Wilks deep basslines that turn sinister and sawlike (fans of Soulwax and Disclosure will enjoy). The B-side ‘Get It Poppin’ is a G house track in every sense of the term – Funky and deep, but ghetto and gangster. Listen to them both below, and pick up the EP today on Beatport!
A few months ago I was introduced to the up and coming Australian producer, Thomas Jack. With an affinity for deep house accompanied by amazing saxophonist Adrian Symes and epic historical speeches, Thomas has made a name for himself recently with several free to download releases, most reaching the top of the Hypem charts and garnering support from DJs the world over. His most recent track “Symphony” is a showcase in why Thomas is definitely one to watch, check it and a few of our other favorites by him below!

We’ve enlisted Australia’s promising deep house specialist, Thomas Jack, for this week’s GDD™ guest mix. Recently featured here for his stunning Booka Shade tribute, “Booka Shake,” Thomas has gained our attention while making waves in the underground. Adding a signature tropical twist to a typically dark, brooding genre, he manifests the Summery, feel-good vibes of his home country to set himself apart from the rest – without compromising the essential grooves. Enjoy this mix from Mr. Thomas Jack.
Back once again with the 129th installment of The Dirt with Troy Kurtz & Three Wise. We’re covering all the bases this week with some tasty new snacks courtesy of our friends over at Main Course, an energized remix of Beyonce, as well as Kastle‘s impressive rework of Drake which is nothing short of class.

Never underestimate the power of social networks. Amidst the heaps of garbage that cloud your inbox day to day, there is always a diamond in the rough. I luckily landed on one yesterday, receiving a message from a young Aussie producer by the name of Thomas Jack. My personal interest in live saxophone incorporated into house tracks is what lured me into the initial track he sent me “The Final Speech”, and it delivered 100%. Fusing deep house with funky soulful backbone, I was already on board. Digging into his SoundCloud, the hits just kept on coming. I could go on, but I’d rather you just hear his own epic description below and then listen for yourself. WHAT A FIND.
“Through the clear representation of flirtatious minxes, strobescent fluctuations, and a myriad of coinciding movement resembling music, the clear conveyance of Thomas Jack emerges. “
