Yesterday, Them Jeans graciously gave away his remix for Prince Club’s “Fruit Boots” on SoundCloud. Them Jeans presents his take on the already dance-floor ready track which includes the same spliced vocals and piano on the original, but also more of a drop after the intro, some added textures, as well as a bouncier and full-bodied bassline. See which version you like better and check out PIE Artists to stay up to date with artists that you should know about if you don’t already.

Win Win is the new side project from XXXChange and Devlin, one of Spank Rock‘s tour DJs, and their track ‘VICTIM’ has been picked up by Scion A/V for a sweet little remix package from our homie Them Jeans, Gigamesh, and a couple others. Cheers to Scion for giving us the premiere!

I know you guys have all been waiting for this one. The Jamaican zombie killer personified by dance music giants Diplo & Switch will be zapping all y’all with some dancehall/electro lazerbeams this Friday at the Avalon in Hollywood, and I can safely say this will be even crazier than the Wolfgang Gartner night we had a couple weeks back. Supporting Major Lazer will be some of LA’s finest including Peace Treaty, Them Jeans, Mr. White, and ///BONES.

Due to the extremely high demand for this show, unfortunately there will be no discount lists this week. You may purchase presale tickets HERE or wait in line Friday night for general admission tickets.
This is not a show to miss, so don’t sleep on getting tickets because this WILL SELL OUT.

I know it’s a little late notice, but it’s a big night at Cinespace tonight kiddos! As you can see above, Midnight Juggernauts will be performing live off of their new album, The Crystal Axis, which was released on Siberia Records in June. Main stage will also play host to another live performance from Las Vegas electro trio, Afghan Raiders, who will also be making an appearance at HARD Summer in August. I don’t know about you all, but I love to see live shows as often as possible, so I would definitely suggest making it out to catch both of these acts.

On top of the live sets in the main room, an all star DJ lineup will also be in effect including Dances With White Girls, DCUP (one of the masterminds behind the epic summer hit ‘We No Speak Americano’), and your friendly resident DJs Them Jeans and Dan Oh.
Buy your $10 presale tickets here! I think they’re giving away a free vinyl signed by Aoki too.

Now that I’m back in the sweat furnace of Miami, I have more than enough time to get back to posting ear monsters for all you awesome readers of this here blahg. Whilst out in LA, I enjoyed quite a few drinks at quite a few clurbs, and was most impressed by two doods of unequal height and unprecedented radness (read: Them Jeans x Dan Oh) Both are standup guys and were kind enough to hook GDD up at all the events they were playing at. Not only do they play topnotch sets that are sure to burn the soles off your high-tops, they also know how to produce a damn fine track (stay locked to their blog called Bad Beat for some exclusives of their own).
