Following the release of their brand new track ‘Desire Life’ that dropped last week, the duo from Brighton will be coming to play in LA for the first time tomorrow night at a secret location in DTLA. My Digital Enemy has found success atop the House charts, racking up numerous Top 10 appearances as well as garnering plays from the main man Pete Tong from BBC Radio1. There’s also a strong list of supporting talent for the event from the likes of Them Jeans, Rick Rude, Richie Panic, and Troy Kurtz. With a Funktion One sound system and full bar sorted out for the event, expect the walls of this party to be shaking late.

Treasure Fingers dropped off his amazing remix of Tatiana Owens‘s new track, Beautiful People, out earlier on T&A Records earlier today. It’s a quite bouncy disco-tech vibe with some amazing vocal work laced on top.

Turns out they extended their remix contest for the original track until January 14th, where the full Remix package EP, also featuring GDD bud, Them Jeans, will be released as well. Full Details HERE.

Nashville newcomers, Basecamp, burst onto the scene late this summer with the R&B infused single, “Emmanuel,” which saw widespread support from artists and press alike. Outlets across the board compared the profound, fervent vocals and glitchy, percussive production to that of SBTRKT and Sampha — rightly so as “Emmanuel,” and the other 3 tracks on the debut self-titled EP, scream out to be played live in every way.

As with any great release come great remix packages, and today, we’re happy to premiere our friend Them Jeans‘ deep, dancefloor-ready remix of the breakout single. He’s found a beautiful balance of utilizing the blissful vocals from the original while kicking up the tempo to a nice, grooving 124BPM. Give it a listen below.

One glance at the tracklist below and you’ll realize that this mixtape has a different kind of dirty dancing to offer up.  It’s a mix full of seductive Summer sounds that will accompany you during those times when a bad decision is the right decision.  It’s Summertime mystery + sunshine bliss…laid back, sexed up vibes wrapped up + ready to be the soundtrack to your sleazy Summer.

Yesterday, Them Jeans graciously gave away his remix for Prince Club’s “Fruit Boots” on SoundCloud. Them Jeans presents his take on the already dance-floor ready track which includes the same spliced vocals and piano on the original, but also more of a drop after the intro, some added textures, as well as a bouncier and full-bodied bassline. See which version you like better and check out PIE Artists to stay up to date with artists that you should know about if you don’t already.

Win Win is the new side project from XXXChange and Devlin, one of Spank Rock‘s tour DJs, and their track ‘VICTIM’ has been picked up by Scion A/V for a sweet little remix package from our homie Them Jeans, Gigamesh, and a couple others. Cheers to Scion for giving us the premiere!
