These two new remixes by GDD™ favorite, Louis La Roche, have been everywhere this week and are very much deserving of a re-post. The Louis La Roche rework of “Everlong” by Foo Fighters is a remarkable piece of artistry & certainly one of the best remixes of 2011. About a week and a half ago, LLR lured us in by posting a 1-minute “Work in Progress” teaser of “Everlong” on his Facebook page. Louis La Roche Facebook Page fan, Jeremie Benarouche, commented on the post & declared, “Clearly, you HAVE to finish this. You just can’t show us one boob and not the other.” Well, as a man of his people, Louis La Roche took the time to fully flash his fans both boobs and kindly finished the rework. The result: a charged up rock anthem classic transformed into stunning piece of dance floor brilliance, giving the song a deep, sweeping, atmospheric new sound.
As if that weren’t enough, the kind folks over at Modular People are giving away the new LLR remix of “Double or Nothing” by The Swiss. Winner winner, disco dinner…
