I’m not going to lie, I could barely contain my excitement when I heard that Ideal Audio‘s latest podcast featured Electric Rescue.  You heard right, the French producer is back with an incredible mix that demonstrates his superior mixing ability but also his impeccable track selection.

Warning: this mix is not for the faint of heart, if you don’t like dark-driving grooves with evil digital undertones then I would steer clear.

All the way in Mexico City, two dudes that call themselves The Wookies (but told not to be confused with Chewbacca) have put out an incredible dance EP aptly named ‘Discotecno’. They have disco heaters like sound they could be upcoming Duck Sauce releases, as well as rolling arpeggios that make you want to find the nearest discotheque and get 10 kinds of freaky. Oh yeah, and they’re releasing it for free.

BROMANCE #1 : Brodinski & Gesaffelstein from Bromance Records on Vimeo.

The suave and always dapper Brodinski announced this week the launch of his label Bromance, which is bursting out of the gates with a massive EP. Louisahhh, who was featured on Danny Daze’s summer stomping anthem ‘Your Everything‘, teams up with Brodinski on ‘Let The Beat Control Your Body’. The catchy hook has Brodi’s appearing to be the more dance-floor appropriate of the two track EP, since the second tune comes courtesy of Gesaffelstein with a villainous techno beast that we’ve come to expect of the Parisian. Bromance #1 will be available digitally on November 21st.

Our buddies at Metamimetic have just put out an exciting new release from Danalog - the moniker of Daniel Lobel – one of the pioneers of South Africa’s ever growing techno scene. Hailing from Cape Town, Danalog’s new track ‘Tuna Julia’ is a dynamic monster of rolling kit and big builds, giving a nod to the snappy percussive sounds of Sebastien Leger.

What’s up dirty dancers?  I hope your weekend was as good as mine.  Personally, this was one of those weekends that was epic enough to make Monday suck even more.  However, instead of trying to decide the least painful way to off myself, I have found that this particular Monday hasn’t been too terrible. Why? Because I have been bumping Marseille‘s new EP, Dak Dak all day long. A true breath of fresh air, Marseille gives us something new in a constantly over-saturated scene. The young producer has been turning heads with his intricate synthesis, complex song structure and distinct sound.

These tracks have been championed by the likes of The Proxy, Feadz and Das Glow. So don’t sleep on this dark and driving EP, it does not disappoint!
