UK mystery duo letthemusicplay commenced a new mixtape series in September; keeping with their approach to let the music do the talking rather than their personal statures and previous laurels. Since September, ltmp have made their live debut at SW4 and released their latest single, “& I Love You ft. L-W,” on Hed Kandi, and they’ve made serious headway with the mixtape project, already putting out 4 installments in 2 months. Today, we get to premiere Volume 5 — a short and sweet 30 minute mix featuring golden tracks from the likes of Hot Natured, Disclosure, Groove Armada, and more. Mystery group, letthemusicplay, have released the stream of their new collaboration with L.W. yesterday titled, “I Love U,” which will be released exclusively on Beatport via Hed Kandi Records on October 15th. letthemusicplay recently had their worldwide debut at SW4 in London, and yet no one knows their true identities yet. August bank holiday weekend is always a highlight in a music savvy Londoner’s diary. It’s the one weekend in the summer where the capital takes its partying to new levels with Notting Hill Carnival, and a host of other events scattered around the city. For South-West London, the weekend is now known for the annual SW4 Festival, an integral massive in the dance music calendar boasting an impressive lineup across two days. We were there last Sunday to check it out.
