A few days ago Pete Tong premiered Steve Angello’s long awaited single “Yeah” on BBC Radio 1. And when I say long awaited, I mean loooong. The first time I heard this track was all the way back in February. I liked it back then, but over the months with the added hype and occasional appearance at festivals I’ve become somewhat obsessed. I’ve always had an unabashed love for the more electro-house and progressive genres and this track perfectly nails the energy and driving beat that makes for club anthems. Soon to be released September 29th on Angello’s own Size Records, make sure to check it out and know it’s name, this is one track thats is going to be heard MUCH more in the coming months.
Happy Friday! Don’t miss all of the goodies featuring Steve Angello, Avicii, LCD Soundsystem, The 2 Bears, Lenno, and Bonnaroo. Please read on after the jump.
Good morning! Today’s stories feature Afrojack, Above & Beyond, Justice, Zedd, SIZE TV, & Feed Me. Please read on after the jump.

It’s March and there is a great deal to be excited about; Miami, trade deadlines, March Madness and Pierce Fulton’s March 2012 mix! Pierce’s newest mix is a high-octane thrill ride that just oozes energy. With every transitions, Pierce is able to melodically build you up and then drop you into a huge dirty groove.

Good morning! We have an excellent update for you all today. Sometimes I wish that the artists that make the headlines were a lineup for a GDD™ Festival. Don’t you? Anyway, there is way too much going on for you to not check it out, so hurry after the jump!
You know it’s going to be an interesting day when you wake up to the sight of 6:45 am on the clock and you’re exhausted from partying to the sounds of SBTRKT, Laidback Luke, 2manydjs, Fatboy Slim, and Rusko the night before at HARD Haunted Mansion. Early last Saturday morning, my friends and I made our way back to the west side from downtown LA, only to rest and prepare for our journey inland to Insomniac’s first Halloween massive, Escape From Wonderland. See what it was all about after the jump…

Yesterday, our boys Josh & Angelo from PeaceTreaty sent us over a pair of previews of their upcoming remixes that will be hitting Beatport in the next couple of weeks, and we are impressed as usual. The first track is a hot n’ heavy new take on Moby‘s ‘After,’ complete with a light synthy Big Room build and a heavy bassline drop that I can’t wait to hear on some professional speakers. Already gaining support from Steve Angello, Hardwell, and Tommy Trash, this remix will be released on Moby’s Lil Idiot Records on Monday, October 31st. The second remix on our plate is Diplo & Oliver Twizt‘s ‘Go,’ and personally, I can really hear the always-improving PeaceTreaty signature sound in this one. This EP will be released on Mad Decent on November 8th, and you probably have heard it played out already by some people you may have heard of: Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Afrojack, Chuckie, and Mr. Aoki. Keep ‘em coming fellas!

It was a big weekend for the Swedish House Mafia with their BBC Radio 1 Essential Selection. Not only did they sit in for the legendary Pete Tong, but they also debuted a brand new track, “Antidote,” that they co-produced with Knife Party, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen’s new project. Yesterday, Steve Angello released his highly anticipated edit of Nari & Milani’s “Kendo” for free on his Facebook page. The track flows from an acid beginning to a climaxing big room synth explosion that may take you by surprise. It’s one of those tracks that you hope you don’t play out, but I just can’t help it!
