Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has been signed to Polydor for his debut LP to be released sometime in 2012. The album will feature new and previously released tracks from Orlando, and in the mean time, Polydor will be putting out an EP for the track that came out on Greco-Roman last year, ‘Garden.’ The remix pack will be ready for purchase on October 2nd and is heavy with talent including Soul Clap, Hackman, Hot Chip‘s Joe Goddard, and more. Give a listen to Joe’s groovy take on the original below.

Besides being the most stylistically forward cat in the game right now, Theophilus London is quickly staking his name among the world’s top young rappers. I’ve got two great remixes to kick-start your weekend. The first one is a freshly released remix of ‘Why Even Try‘ by Remix Artist Collective (RAC). This lighthearted remix makes you want to want to skip across street corners and stroke your lover’s cheek while whispering sweet nothings. Boston’s Soul Clap speeds up and trips out ‘Flying Overseas‘, muffling Theo’s voice to have it gently ride along some eerily warm pads and always necessary 808s.

Don’t put away those bikinis or beach towels quite yet, there is one last Culprit Sessions party at the Standard Hotel rooftop in downtown Los Angeles this Sunday with Boston’s Soul Clap headlining the day. It’s going to be an afternoon and evening filled with deep, groovy vibes and pretty, party people, and I have TWO PAIRS of tickets to give away to you LA folk. The first two people to email me at JONAH@GOTTADANCEDIRTY.COM will win. Quick draw!
