While the London duo, SNAKEHIPS, still haven’t revealed their identities, their music is rapidly being recognized around the world, including a biggup from Flume and a spot on iTunes Top 15 Electronic chart for their maiden single, “On & On,” which we posted about back in April. As the guys announced on their Soundcloud, they’ve put together this little beat called “Make It” to tide us over until their next single, which I’m expecting to be a top 5 summer tune, no doubt.
Mystery production duo, SNAKEHIPS, should be on your radar by now with their pre-summer anthem, “On & On,” featuring the creamy vocals from Australia’s George Maple, but if not, the official video has just recently been released and it’s a throwback. Droptops, high tops, blunts, and boardslides characterize this fantastic music video — a perfect visual to a perfect song. √+
After a swift pickup by Ultra Music, Bondax‘s hit “Gold” has been given the video treatment, featuring a pretty interesting visual interpretation of the original track. In other Bondax news, the Lancaster duo will be working on a debut LP slated for release in the fall on Relentless Records in the UK, so we should be expecting some new singles over the summer.
Had to include this booty along with this post. Too good.
Might be a little late to the party on this one, but no matter, it’s worth it. Yet another incredibly solid act has recently emerged out of London, this time in the form of anonymous duo, SNAKEHIPS. After picking up over 1MM views on YouTube and a pair of #1 spots on Hype Machine for their remixes of Bondax and Wild Belle, the R&B meets Electronica production team has put up an original titled “On & On,” featuring the gorgeous vocals from Australian talent, George Maple. “On & On” illuminates the immediate connection between electronic production and R&B soul, with SNAKEHIPS and Maple finding a faultless balance in collaboration. While SNAKEHIPS remains a mystery for now, they have plans to tour a live show this summer, so it shouldn’t be long before we get more info (and hopefully music). √+
