[Events] Slap & Tickle presents Duke Dumont @ Bardot 5.14

Duke Dumont stormed onto the radars of the entire dance community towards the back half of last year with his chart topping hit ‘The Giver‘ and has not stopped in 2013. He rifled back with a banging Essential Mix on BBC1 as well as reaching the #1 spot on iTunes in the UK with a massive bomb ‘Need U 100%.’ Next Tuesday, he graces the carpet at Bardot in Miami for our weekly Slap & Tickle party alongside residents Troy Kurtz, Santiago Caballero, Panic Bomber, and Pirate Stereo.

[MIAMI] GDD + Slap & Tickle + Oh Really?! pres. Bondax + Samo Sound Boy at The Garage

While Miami is most notorious for the madness that occurs every March for WMC and Ultra Music Festival, thousands of art and music lovers from across the world converge in the beginning of December for Art Basel. We kicked things off in style last night at our weekly Slap & Tickle party at the beloved Electric Pickle with LA’s Rick Rude, and are gearing up for a massive evening tomorrow night at one of Miami’s newest venues, The Garage. The rising UK duo Bondax will be preforming an exclusive Art Basel set alongside Body High label boss Samo Sound Boy. The best part about this event is that its FREE, as long as you head over to the Slap & Tickle page and send us  your names before 6pm tomorrow. Miami is in for a magical treat on Halloween night. Heralded as the DJ’s DJ, the dance floor maestro, and the mixtape assassin, The Magician has quickly taken the title of the godfather of good times. His acclaimed Magic Tape mix series grew from an audience of select bloggers and fans who were aware of his departure from Aeroplane, to a massive international group of listeners just wanting to bask in the glory of his tropical aura. [MIX] Santiago Caballero – Sandunguera Vol. 1

Slap & Tickle resident DJ Santiago Caballero delivers an extremely tasty first installment of his Sanduguera mix series.  Clearly inspired by the late nights that we’ve spent manning the decks together at Miami’s infamous Electric Pickle, his mix delivers a dollop of deep basslines and wondrous house tunes. MIA: SLAP & TICKLE PRES. DANNY HOWELLS JULY 3RD @ ELECTRIC PICKLE

Since launching Slap & Tickle 15 weeks ago at the Electric Pickle in Miami, we’re throwing the biggest event yet on July 3rd with a 12 hour marathon of tunes. We’ve teamed up with SAFE to bring in the legendary house producer/DJ Danny Howells (Dig Deeper/London) who has confirmed that he’ll be playing upstairs for at least five hours. Outside, we’ve organized live performances from Kurtz & Bomber, Le Blorr, and Millionyoung. In support will be a supreme line-up of all the Slap & Tickle guests from the last few months. We’re opening doors at 5pm with a BBQ and free beer until 8pm, so get your 4th of July celebrations started early. For more info, click HERE.

4.17 – Beni @ Slap & Tickle

A few months ago, GDD launched the first Slap & Tickle at Miami’s favorite underground dance venue  The Electric Pickle. Every Tuesday, the lure of $2 tequila shots and deep grooves swept through the city and manifested itself into one steamy dance party. Tomorrow night, we pick up the pace with Australian headliner BENI. Affiliated with Modular and Bang Gang imprints, his unique brand of house and techno was a shoe-in for our debut headliner. We kick things off tomorrow at 10pm with residents Troy Kurtz, Pirate Stereo, and Santiago Cabellero. Tickets will be $10 at the door. Click here for more info.

MIAMI: SLAP & TICKLE 2.21.12

We’re proud to announce that GDD has teamed up with The Electric Pickle in Miami to launch our weekly Tuesday night party called Slap & Tickle, which launches tomorrow night at 11pm. The Electric Pickle is undoubtedly the premier venue in Miami for underground dance music (just check out their WMC line-up) and we are extremely stoked to breathe some life back in the Miami weeknight party circuit. Check out the promo mixes that residents Pirate Stereo, Santiago Caballero, and myself have curated.  We look forward to meeting our MIA GDD fam tomorrow (PS NO COVER!)
