The Gorgon City guys really know how to pick em’.. Zak Abel, fresh off his recent feature on Gorgon City’s debut album (see “Unmissable”), is rearin’ to go with his latest single, “These Are The Days.” It’s jazzy with a familiar four-on-the-floor and a punchy kit to compliment as Abel’s vocals glide through the verses and glisten as the chorus hits. The attitude is there to elevate the production, but the kind that comes from reveling in the glory from another good day on earth. Get with it..
The weather is here to stay, it would seem, so you best bunker down with some stellar beats and good company. The first of which I can help you with per the latest single to be released on LA based Next Wave Records and their latest signee, Atlas Bound. With intermingling vibes from wavy synths to soul infused vocals, there’s not much else to TALK about, just listen..

C2C is a four member deep french turntable group that has been around since ’98, winning everything from the World DJ Championships for Disco, to the European Border Breakers award in 2013 for best new European music act. With only one official album out in 2012, they have remained relatively quiet on the production front. This remix is for Vitalic’s “Fade Away” EP coming out on March 25th and it features their signature disco bounce and electro edge that creates a sublime environment to let loose and dance to. For those unfamiliar with this group, you might know them best from their track that’s being used on a Dr. Pepper ad running right now, or their name as featured on the Coachella lineup this year.
Back in the bloghaus heyday of 2008, there was a swarm of alty babes like Lykke Li, Little Boots, and Ellie Goulding
(pre-Skrillex) who banged out club-anthems religiously for about 12 months…and then it seemed they all went on permanent vacations. UK singer/songwriter Little Boots bursts out of quasi-retirement today with her new single ‘Every Night I Say A Prayer’, which is a dreamy house number produced by Hercules and Love Affair front man Andy Butler. The single is accompanied by a bumpin’ Tensnake remix that screams 80s fluoro and big hair. Download both after the jump…
