Belgian heavy hitting duo Shameboy have amassed quite the vault of remixes, so after wrapping up two prominent forthcoming remixes (details on those soon) they recently decided to put together a multi-part mixtape series comprised solely of their various remix efforts from over the years. Supported from the beginning by the likes of Laidback Luke, Tiga, Dada Life, and more, you can rest assured this first 39:26 mix will be an action packed thrill ride that will have you A) speeding down the highway, B) dancing in your chair, c) shotgunning beers with good friends, or D) all of the above (hopefully not at the same time).
Preview the mix below, and hit that download button to go and get it so you can pass the above multiple choice exam with a √+. Also, stayed tuned for more Shameboy right here on Gotta Dance Dirty in the near future! Tracklisting after the jump.
Well here’s a free firecracker to help you get over those Humpday blues and start roundhouse kicking your way into the weekend. Belgian producers Shameboy have cooked up a saucy little remix for Hamburg, Germany upstarts Gorillas On Drums that’s infused with some Big Room melodies, Future Techno basslines, and a tasteful amount of Dutchy bleeps and bloops that keep the song progressing steadily and your hips moving all along.
Here’s what the fellas from Shameboy had to say about it:
Here you go!! The guys from Gorillas On Drums asked us to do a remix for this track, which we did… As they really loved it, they were so eager to share this with you, the guys and us decided to actually give this away as a free download… They just wanted their Original track and our remix to be out there asap, that meant: no label hassle, no waiting around, and just instant pleasure
Traktor Records released a monster remix package today for German duo SUPER SUPER off their SUAVE EP. The release features the (2) tracks ‘Babydaddy’ and ‘Suave’ remixes by Shameboy, Sharkslayer, Planisfear, D-R-U-N-K (aka Motor of Dim Mak), Konstrict and The Stereo Youth. A well rounded assortment of remixes, you’ll find a mixture of bleeps, booms and bass, with a dash of deep house for good measure. Check out the EP teaser mix below – and my personal fav from UK-based Planisfear (look out for this guy!) executing a peak-time madman in his remix of ‘Babydaddy.’
Munich based Bobble have just sent us their new track ‘Zefix’, dropping on German label Guys N Dolls in a couple of weeks time. The release features remixes from Jan Driver and Belgian heavy-hitter Shameboy. Case the previews of all three tracks, especially the Shameboy which is my favorite on the EP – it’s got a striking similarity to the dirty techy-electro sound that Mumbai Science are kaning at the moment:
