After releasing “Thinking of You” as an exclusive single on Beatport via Scuba‘s Hotflush Recordings back in March, London’s George Fitzgerald has combined the well-received tune (over 130K plays on Soundcloud!) with yet another emotive, ardent club mover, “Nighttide Lover.” The two singles are joined by a “Re-Dub” from Portugal’s Trikk, creating a trifecta ready for the Ibiza season. The EP is available today on Beatport.

Monday will see the release of a two-pack of Hotflush goodies that have been staples in the label boss’ set for the past few months. One of these top tunes is Scuba‘s remix of Detroit-based Jimmy Edgar‘s ‘Sex Drive,’ and it is phenomenal. Starting out seemingly harmless, ‘Sex Drive’ builds for the first minute before you’re taken deep down into bouncy darkness. No lasers or flashes required for this one, just keep the lights down and the subs up. Pick it up along with SCB’s remix of Scuba’s ‘Hardbody’ on the 22nd. √+

It’s no secret that Hotflush label boss, Scuba, has an adroit sense for tasteful tunes, as evident in his consistent music production and the ongoing A&R of his imprint where artists like Mount Kimbie, Joy Orbison, and Jimmy Edgar have been featured. Last Friday, the lovely Annie Mac let Scuba take over the reins of her radio show on BBC Radio 1, and Scuba handpicked 7 tracks from previous Hotflush Recordings releases and compiled them into a beautiful Hotflush Classics mix. Get dancing to this one. √+
