The nice folks over at Scion A/V have recently been putting together some great exclusive video content taken from their widely respected Music(less) Conference that occurred here in Los Angeles this past summer — with deep, inquisitive looks into the careers and music-making processes of some of the industry’s finest including Steve Aoki, Dam Funk, Mark Ronson, Nadastrom and more. The entire catalog of these conference videos can be found over on the Scion A/V website, but first take a look above for an exclusive premiere of a look inside Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom’s creative process here in Los Angeles.

Scion A/V will be releasing a new EP from Los Angeles’ own (Thee) Mike B tomorrow for free on their website, but today they’ve given us the world premiere of ‘Iration’, a collaborative track with Steven Bloodbath from the 7-track release, Tite At Nite. ‘Iration’ shows a deeper side of what you’d expect from the widely respected LA resident, using pitched down vocals and a minimalistic approach to create a must-have late-nighter. Make sure to pick up the entire EP tomorrow over at Scion A/V.

Our good friend 12th Planet has teamed up with Scion A/V in 2012 for a free EP being released in two short days as well as a 28-date headlining tour throughout all of February and early March. Not too light. Perfectly melodic. Mr. John Dadzie can’t be stopped! Free download and tour dates below.

This June, Scion A/V and Dim Mak are hitting the road with a 17-date tour featuring 6 of Dim Mak’s most promising talents. They’ll be bussing all around the US, starting off June 6th in sunny San Diego, CA and finishing up in Phoenix, AZ on the 27th. For my fellow UCSB kids + alumns, you’d be happy to know that the name of this tour originates from Steve Aoki‘s famous apartment complex (dubbed ‘the Pickle Patch’) in Isla Vista while he was attending the most amazing/ridiculous college in the world.

All of the shows on the tour will cost $5 or less and will feature an interesting, genre-mashing lineup that will make each show as unique as the Dim Mak label. Head on over to the Pickle Patch website for tour dates in a city near you, and get this brand new exclusive from AutoErotique as well as a PeaceTreaty remix preview of Sporty O & Whiskey Pete that comes out tomorrow on Beatport!

Win Win is the new side project from XXXChange and Devlin, one of Spank Rock‘s tour DJs, and their track ‘VICTIM’ has been picked up by Scion A/V for a sweet little remix package from our homie Them Jeans, Gigamesh, and a couple others. Cheers to Scion for giving us the premiere!

My personal favorite remix from the release.

Scion A/V has to be one of the best marketing projects that electronic music has seen. Their involvement with artists, releases, and events is pretty much unmatched by any other company, so thumbs up to them for doing what they do. Today, I bring you a couple of tracks off of the latest Scion release from one of Detroit’s best electronic musicians and the father of Detroit Techno, Juan Atkins. It’s deep, techy, and pretty much everything you would want from a FREE release from the legendary Techno originator. Grab these two tracks from the release below, and head over to Scion A/V to pick up the entire complimentary 6-track package including another original from Atkins and 3 remixes.

Juan Atkins – Marz (Original Mix)
Juan Atkins – Dayshift (Original Mix)

I bring you the latest offering from Scion A/V; a full EP release for Azari & III’s most recent production, ‘Into The Night.’ The generous package is being released in full quality for free and contains a reputable remix roster including Nicolas Jaar, Renaissance Man, CFCF, and more. The Canadian duo is all about that Chicago House sound, and I must say it’s definitely been hitting the spot for me. Grab the original and a couple of my favorite remixes below, and make sure to head over to Scion A/V to pick up the full release if you’re into it.

Groovy, Chicago style with a side of sexy, soulful vocals. Mmmm.
This very talented young producer takes an eclectic, confident, piano-laden approach and makes ‘Into The Night’ his own. Big things coming for Nicolas Jaar and his Clown + Sunset label in 2011.
The Finnish power duo, Renaissance Man, takes ‘Into The Night’ and makes an epic out of it. Yes, the 10+ minutes of this are all necessary.
