Happy 4th July Dirty Dancers! A month has passed since we last heard from Louis La Roche, so it’s time to deliver the third and final installment of his awesome Scenery Mixtape project. We’ve had a lot of fun listening to the last two parts, and in my humble opinion the third is best of all; starting out with fresh filter-laden funk, then giving the nod to motown and hip-hop influences, before ending on a piece of the downbeat melodic trip-hop that we’ve heard in earlier sections of the mixtape:

We want to say a huge congrats to Louis La Roche for what has proven to be an innovative and successful project. Thanks for working with us!

Last month we teamed up with Louis La Roche to premiere his innovative new mixtape project entitled Scenery. The mixtape, which incorporates a wide range of production ideas he’s worked on, is to be delivered in three parts on the first of each month between May and July – So today being June 1st, we are able to unveil part 2.

Chatting with GDD™ in April, Louis La Roche told us: “there will be no tracklisting, the idea is that Scenery’s a listening experience of short songs that create a journey for the listener. This is a free project, released digitally by myself, and each part will come with individual artwork.”

What’s good Dirty Dancers?! Starting this weekend GDD™ will be teaming up with Louis La Roche to bring you an exclusive of his new three part mixtape project called Scenery. Each part will be released on the 1st of every month, starting from this Sunday, 1st May.

Scenery is no ordinary mixtape though, all featured songs are edits, remixes, ideas and originals from Louis La Roche, who told us “there will be no tracklisting, the idea is that Scenery’s a listening experience of short songs that create a journey for the listener. This is a free project, released digitally by myself, and each part will come with individual artwork.”
