Check out this weeks event roundup! It may be getting cold and grey here in New York, but these events are sure to keep things interesting.

It’s always respectable when an artist or group, like SBTRKT, pushes their own boundaries of creativity. Through sonic experimentation they’ve created an original track that helps ease the mind with it’s feel-good analog sound. With all of the music that they’ve put out after their initial debut album, I’m dying for another big release. Hear the new SBTRKT after the jump and join me in hoping for another album!
Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend and I wish for you to have a great week ahead of you. I have news featuring Dave Grohl, possibly Thom Yorke, Melt! Festival 2012, and TJR’s latest release. Please read on after the jump!

Good morning! It’s Friday and I have personally curated (as always) this very extensive GDD™ Morning Update as a gift to you for the weekend. Today’s news includes Deadmau5′s views on Simon Cowell’s new DJ talent show, Porter Robinson’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut, Super Bowl XLVI’s music and performers, Bassnectar, and much more. Please read on after the jump, I know you’ll enjoy it.

We finally made it through the week and our Halloween festivities are upon us. I have some great content for you to indulge in this morning that includes the RE:GENERATION tracks, an Escape From Wonderland preview & set times, AraabMuzik’s tour with EDM support, a 12th Planet interview, a trailer of a Soulwax video project, and a video of Afrojack playing classical music. Be entertained after the jump…
A trio of London-based producers I’ve been paying a lot of attention to lately is Dark Sky, we posted their XX remix last week. Today they dropped their new Something To Lose/Ghost Notes EP on Black Acre. Something to Lose is a bangin tune; an assault of uk garage influenced drum n bass, in a similar vein to Breakage. Check it out and if you like it a bunch, you can buy the EP in full here.
