We recently took a brief poll of what our fans on Facebook & Twitter thought was the “Track of the Year,” and we received overwhelming responses for “Levels” by Avicii. After an enormous year with productions as well as touring, Avicii is coming back to San Francisco for an encore after playing a couple dates at Ruby Skye back in September. On December 29th, he will be playing at The Warfield at two separate times (7:30pm and 11pm). However, the 11pm show is already sold out, but there are still tickets available for the 7:30pm slot! San Francisco, we recommend you act fast on tickets to catch an artist that is partially responsible for electronic music’s recent explosion in the US. Keep an eye on our Facebook on Friday for a ticket giveaway and see how Australia gets down with Avicii after the jump!

All my best to you and the Bay,
Get ready this Friday because GDD will be invading the Bay Area to bring you some of the dirtiest noise to blast out of the FunktionOne sound system @ Vessel. Wreck the Disco and BLAP productions bring you Lip Service – this time around welcoming Mexcali’s bad boys the DISCO VILLAINS, and your very own ///BONES to warm up the decks. Opening support will be local heroes Party Pat and DJ Dru. If that’s not enough to tickle your tweeker, I might just be bringing up a bunch of goodies for the true dirty dancers in attendance. Yes, I mean the illustrious GDD t-shirts and tanktops. Why is that a big deal? Because we’re almost sold out of everything we just got back in stock last week. So you better make an appearance if you know what’s dirty for ya. Peep the info out below and check out some of the major remixes coming out on the Disco Villains upcoming EP for the GDD highly approved anthem “Chiketere.”

This Saturday, a coalition of San Francisco’s roving DJ crews are uniting under one roof to raise money for the Red Cross for Earthquake Victims in Haiti. Folks, if you’re over 21 and over your texting limit for the month, come on out and get down for a great cause. Last night, President Obammy said the worst of the economic storm is over, so the suggested donation of $10-$15 isn’t going to put you back on food stamps. First 100 donors get a free Guinness. Check out these jams from two of San Francisco’s finest deejaying this event.
