When Sam Smith sings, the ladies swoon, and the homies catch some feels. Mix in Berlin’s Fabich & Ferdinand Weber‘s production alias, JUUN, and the recipe is a feel good anthem to quench the summer thirst. This is the first sound to surface for the new duo that is sure to take the airwaves by storm as their catalogue develops. Collaborating with the UK Songbird for their first run at it speaks leagues to their production chops and only time will tell what the industry has in store for these two. For now, have a listen, throw ‘em a follow, and let their story unravel.

MK does it again! The remix legend has struck gold once more with Sam Smith‘s “Money On My Mind” premiering today by the lovely Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, chopping up the angelic vocals from Smith and laying them atop big piano chords, a multitude of hi hats, and solid, padded basslines. If you’re heading down to BPM next week, make sure to catch Marc next Friday for The Modern Love Affair event! √+
The last few months have been huge for Duke Dumont. With features on almost all of the main music outlets (spotify, beatport, itunes, Vevo to name a few) and tons of press and support from the likes of Steve Aoki, Armand Van Helden, Porter Robinson, Treasure Fingers, Switch, Clockwork/RL Grime, Todd Edwards, Amtrac, Calvin Harris, and Tommie Sunshine it’s really no surprise that Disclosure have recently joined the ranks of those in support of Dukes biggest track to date “Need U 100%” with AME.
Today on Sara Cox’s BBC Radio 1 live show, the Disclosure brothers were joined by none other than Sam Smith to perform this amazing cover of Duke’s classic tune. With ties to detroit techno, classic disco and and chicago house it’s awesome to see a fantastic track getting the recognition it deserves. Now, if we could only get it onto mainstream radio in the US….

As the Indio dust is finally settling from two weeks of wind, heat and wild spirits across the polo fields, we look back at our favorite moments of this years Coachella Music Festival. With a staggering artist lineup each day making it almost impossible to catch every set we wanted to see, the most memorable performances are all that stand alone from such an incredible experience in the desert. Here are the “best of the fest” we have to give royalty to… Continue Reading
Besides being the vocals behind Disclosure’s hit single, “Latch,” Sam Smith has accrued a budding career and following behind his sexy and sensational vocals. His most recent release, “Lay Me Down,” had women and men alike swooning over his emotional performance on the single. The original was more of a bedroom classic, but Todd Edwards comes through with a dance floor edit to groove and spin your partner around the dance floor to. The sultry pipes of Sam Smith get slapped with a synth line of the deeper nature, a sound that’s all too unfamiliar from the UK songbirds collaboration with Disclosure. The original is available to buy on iTunes, but there is no word yet on this remix EP.
My good friend aRod and I have selected 10 tunes this week for your listening pleasure. We went pretty eclectic as per usual with any Dirt, so download them individually or download both zips for the whole enchilada. Happy Dirt day folks.

If you are any sorts of cool then your Facebook feed currently reads something like this: ___________ (insert friend’s name) and __ others have shared this link. Within 5 minutes of Disclosure posting their new track “Latch”, my Facebook feed exploded with aural elation. And in the first 3 hours since posting this track to SoundCloud, Disclosure’s new song has already been played over 10,000 times. FACT: PEOPLE LOVE DISCLOSURE. And deservedly so. Tender sweet vocals (by newcomer Sam Smith) and deep, romantic UK Pop Bass vibes make this another stunner from Disclosure. The sound of Autumn has arrived.
“Latch” will be out November 5th via PMR.
