After 2 Fridays occupying desert living, we return back to the avalon in full force for a huge lineup. CONTROL this week plays hosts to the OWSLA wonder-brain Alvin Risk, along with the heavy-hitting Figure and a mainstage debut by UK duo The Loops Of Fury. Opening up the night will be a special b2b set by our friends Sam Hiller and Craig Williams, with The Ref closing out the festivities. This Friday, we turn a milestone and celebrate the 4 year anniversary of the storied Los Angeles party CONTROL @ The Avalon. Hosting many of the top artists from around the globe over the past four years, it has been an incredible experience being apart of this iconic LA event and we couldn’t be happier to continue helping make history every week…

To help ring in the anniversary, UK wizards Jack Beats will grace the decks, along with trap heavyweight Carnage and the hard hitting Whiiite. The onslaught of bookings carries on in 2013 @ Avalon this Friday with a serious lineup. The Italiano Congorock will be bringing his mammoth sound back to the CONTROL decks, joined by dutch big room phenom Marcel Woods. VERSUS (11/29) ft. SHAROOZ & FRIENDS

After a week off due to tryptophan overdoses, VERSUS returns this Thursday with UK native Sharooz – providing us a rare intimate performance before he heads back across the pond. Supporting the night, the hard hitting Ecto Cooler will be celebrating his ‘Touch The Sky’ EP release party, along with DJ sets from Sam Hiller, Don Winsley, and Master Wayne. GDD™ presents CONTROL (9/28) w/ Swanky Tunes + LA Riots

Of the dance music coming out of Eastern Europe and Russia these days, it’s safe to say that Swanky Tunes have been at the top of the list in the past year or so, with their pumping Electro House tunes seeing releases on Spinnin’, Size, Mixmash, and many more. They’ll be co-headlining this Friday night at CONTROL with our pal LA Riots, who hasn’t played the Avalon for many moons. Supporting the two headliners will be NYC’s Disco Fries and locals Sam Hiller and Mossberg Pump.

Another triple threat is hitting Avalon this Friday – as CONTROL welcomes Aussie giants the Stafford Brothers, the new LA-transplant Bass Kleph, and GDD favorite Hot Mouth to the decks. Dev is the 22 year-old American singer and songwriter best known for her bouncy Electro-vocal style on collaborations with top tier acts like David Guetta, Timbaland, Afrojack, and The Cataracs, and this Friday she’ll be performing a live set at CONTROL at the Avalon in Hollywood. Supporting DJ sets will come from Yung Skeeter (AKA Skeet Skeet), James Egbert, Mr. White, GDD™’s Burn Unit, and Sam Hiller.

GDD™ presents CONTROL w/ Pleasurekraft + Deniz Koyu

Ever since the first time I heard ‘Tarantula,’ I was in love with Pleasurekraft. Their eerie yet very danceable sound is so unique, it can fit into sets of multiple genres. On that note, I’m excited to say that Pleasurekraft will be headlining this week’s CONTROL at the Avalon in Hollywood along with Deniz Koyu, the Dutchman whose Progressive Electro style has been fully supported by everyone from Fedde Le Grand to Dada Life. Should be a fun one folks!

This week @ CONTROL features a serious medley of BASS. All the way from Brazil – the massive DirtyLoud will be gracing the decks, along with the chi-town heavy-hitter Lucky Date and only the second ever shot by the mysterious WHIIITE.
