The once mysterious, now not so mysterious, Route 94 is back on that production grind with a new release on Defected Records that follows suit to its predecessor, “My Love.” Less anthemic, but equally as club ready, “Tell You Why,” features a bassline that can hold its own on the dance floor as pitched up vocals set a sultry tone for the production. With his “Fly 4 Life” EP out soon on Defected, you can be sure to find this tune alongside other Route 94 originals at the end of this month.

While they hunkered down in the studio, they informed us that they’ve also finished a new EP which they’re presently shopping out to labels. Grab the free download below and be on the lookout for their new tracks.

Route 94 is, put simply, on fire. Elusive yet efficient, the London-based producer has been churning it out in the past couple of months, with the smash single “My Love” picking up support from all over including placement on Annie Mac’s recent compilation, as well as top remixes for Storm Queen’s “Look Right Through,” Skream’s “Rollercoaster,” and most recently, Katy B’s “5 AM.” There’s something about solid House music that trumps all else, and Route 94 has it undeniably on lock. √+
