Kavinsky is back in the US touring in support of his long-awaited debut album, OutRun, out last month on Casablanca/Republic Records, and supporting him tonight at Webster Hall in NY and tomorrow night at Lot 613 here in Los Angeles is one of GDD™’s favorite Brits, Riton. Riton has recently put together a Rerub for Croatian duo SymbolOne, who just released their Pink Elephant EP on ClubMod in late February, and ClubMod has been nice enough to let us give away his Techno take on the House-y original for free! Download below and check out Riton this weekend if you’re in NY or LA!

We here at GDD™ just love butts. We also love AC Slater. We also love Riton. Lucky for us, we get all three today as AC Slater & Riton came together to make a sweet little booty of Rihanna’s Only Girl In the World, and our bud AC is giving it away for free today on his Facebook. Grab the track below and make sure to head over to AC’s Facebook and like him!

The absolutely stunning Kid Sister will be performing live tonight at CONTROL at the Avalon in Hollywood. This Windy City woman has been the voice to some great dance tracks in the past few years, including the big track by Mehdi and Riton in 2o10 titled ‘Do Do Do’ that was made into a monster remix by the legendary Laidback Luke. Supporting her will be SF’s Trevor Simpson, as well as local LA talent from Mr. White, Thee Mike B, and Steve Prior.

We will also be holding down the GDD™ House Party room tonight with our friends from Techno Color Kids as well as the lovely ladies of TrippensoXx, so come have a drink with us in the room directly to the right of the front of the stage.

Please RSVP names and pluses to jonah@gottadancedirty.com to be on our discount ticket list for the evening. Please have all names submitted before 5:30pm. Discount for 21+ is $10 before 11pm.

It’s no secret that the body rattling genre of dubstep has re-emerged into the ears of dirty dancers worldwide (I say re-emerged because ‘dub/breakbeat’ has been around longer than you). So, when I bring up the name Doorly, you should get a little tingly in your stomach, as his remixes of Calvin Harris & The Temper Trap are top-shelf spiritual endeavors. He delivers two remixes by Riton & Primary 1‘s ‘Who’s There’, because he loved the song so much, just one rendition wasn’t going to cut it. And if you’re still not satisfied, he recorded a ferocious 5-minute minimix for Miss Annie Mac over at BBC1. OK, so there’s one downfall. The tracks are 128kbps, so instead of buying another PBR for your best breaux tonight, purchase the songs over at beatport/itoonz if you’re so inclined.
