Just over a week ago LA-massive Mad Decent dropped a five-flush remix pack of Elliphant‘s “Only Getting Younger feat. Skrillex” on their Soundcloud and like some of the best things in life that shit is free.99! Predictably all of the tracks are heavy hitters, ranging from big-room horn-heavy bounce vibes from TJR and Brazzabelle to the moombahton-tempo squaks of the Milo & Otis remix, to the sped-up DnB halftime version from DJ Vice & Justyle, to my personal favorite sort of experimental melodic trap/beats version from NGTMRE and Imanos. Regardless of what your style or taste is, this is a classic encompassing Mad Decent Party Pack that not only showcases a festival-ready range of styles but also a great look at some of LA’s biggest and baddest upcoming talents.

You can preview the whole pack below and download them over on the Mad Decent Soundcloud.

It seems as the time has finally come; Jesse Rose‘s massive undertaking of his 12×12 series finally ends with The Whole Twelve Remixes, a selection of (you guessed it) twelve brand new remixes from a grand selection of talented musicians in the game like Guti, Sebo K, Matthias Tanzmann, Ardalan, Doorly, and more. Each track from his album The Whole Twelve Inches got a nice little revisit from legends and newcomers alike, thickening the remix roster for Jesse’s label Play It Down by a hefty amount.

You can listen to all the remixes in the handy Soundcloud package below, preorder the album on iTunes by clicking HERE, or straight up go buy it right now on Beatport HERE.

As an added bonus, two new remixes are available for free downloads via their premiers on THUMP and XLR8R. Symbols’ angel Jaw Jam puts a softer edge on the bass-heavy ‘Underbelly’ and Blaine Lake takes Love The Feeling High to booming techno levels. Big.

The rising Los Angeles-based duo, Casino Gold, has released the excellent remix pack for their feel-good house anthem, “All I Need,” via Perfect Driver Music. Kicking off the package, our own Troy Kurtz gives us a striking deep house floor filler led by a huge, driving bassline paired with percussive/vocal accents. Ruff Hauser follows suit with a stand-out bass-heavy remix that incorporates an unexpected half-time breakdown, while Evil Twin offers up a piano-laden house groover. The Perfect Driver label head, Matthew Anthony, then closes out the pack in proper form with a more experimental interpretation that features unique synth work over  up-tempo tribal rhythms. With these brilliant renditions, Casino Gold successfully revitalizes “All I Need,” just in time for Miami. Purchase the remix pack on Beatport.

Out yesterday, this set of remixes from Botnek and NYMZ for DallasK‘s “Alienz” definitely caught our ear. In the first remix, Botnek takes the big room elements of the original and mixes it with an intense grimey breakdown that definitely adds some funk and flavor to the festival sound. NYMZ goes in a totally different direction with his mix, starting with some classical piano before dropping into a trap style groove. Each brings a new fresh feel to an already dope single, pick ‘em up on Beatport today! And make sure to catch DallasK at Avalon’s Control this Friday!

Yolanda Be Cool‘s massive rebranding effort from their 2010 hit single, “We No Speak Americano,” has proved to be very fruitful. Signing to Dim Mak Records for the U.S. release of their new album turned a lot of heads, and their mix for the label’s pool party in Miami stirred up a lot of passion. With many ID’s on their way according to some facebook activity, a new song and video titled, “A Baru In New York,” has come into being.
