We’ve teamed up with 23 year old up-and-comer David Dann to bring you something fun this morning: his entire debut full length album free to stream and download, for the next 24 hours.  Now, you know I’m no fan of vocal or progressive house, but there are always the special exceptions for me.  I’ve been into his remixes for a few months now, and the full length had me as soon as David had sent it over.  The quality and attention to detail in his production, coupled with an intricate and infectious sense of melody, put him on my list of artists to watch– I’ll be very surprised if this young producer isn’t playing very big rooms full of many people in the near future.  Grab his full 11 track album, including his collaboration with C.C. Sheffield, his 7 track remix pack, and the premier of his latest video; all right here, today on GDD™.

Pierce Fulton dropped two new tracks on his soundcloud the other day, That Should Do It and West Egg. The first, That Should Do It is a melodic downtempo masterpiece that is beautifully constructed, perfect for long drives in the sun.  West Egg is another downtempo jam layered with well-designed synths that has a great underlying groove.

In preparation for his WMC debut with Pierce Fulton and LA Riots at the Phazing Records Party, Michael Brun dropped The Rise Mixtape on his Soundcloud this morning. Earlier this week, the nineteen-year-old from Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, released the Dirty South edit of his original track, “Rise,” and it currently sits at number 17 on the Beatport Progressive House Chart. “Rise” marks the future for Michael Brun and Phazing Records as Dirty South continues to sign serious up-and-comers to his label. The Rise Mixtape contains originals from Brun as well as other progressive house anthems, making it the perfect companion for a sun soaked afternoon in Miami.

There is no question about it, Pierce Fulton has been creating quite the buzz in the Progressive House community lately. Ever since his single, For Me, dropped and was featured on Above & Beyond’s Trance Around The World, Fulton has been unstoppable. I recently caught up with Pierce, and not only was he kind enough to give GDD™ an interview, but he also recorded an EXCLUSIVE mix just for all of our loyal readers.

Damaged Goods and Sydney Blu, two of Miami’s most recognized big-room DJs, are releasing a booming anthem today in the form of Devastating, which is out on Sydney Blu’s label Blu Music. Certainly not a track for the warm-up DJ, but if you need some peak-time juice at a 1000 person rave, then head over to Beatport and sort yourself out. They’re also giving away two versions of another one of their songs called Giving It Up, which should do more to keep you buzzing around all day than 10 shots of espresso.

This week CaPa‘s Aurora EP dropped on Harkee Records and I couldn’t be more excited. The EP is massive, delivering a wide range of takes on the already exceptional title track, Aurora. CaPa has really blurred the lines here, producing a track that takes you on a journey through different EDM sounds and genres. Aurora starts as a techy jam complete with intelligent percussion and a melodic, well-produced melody. Just as you think you have found your groove the track drops you into a big room explosion that would make any progressive house head sweat.

Don’t miss this one folks!!! [Purchase Link]

Much Love,

Pierce Fulton has been creating a massive amount of underground buzz lately and as a result is finally starting to become a household name in the EDM scene.   His new two song EP, White2Black, is nothing short of exceptional, complete with gorgeous melodies, groovy basslines and complex song structure. With songs like Procella and Lucid Dream, Pierce has demonstrated that he can hang with the Progressive House heavy weights.

So keep your eyes on this kid and don’t say I didn’t tell you so : ).
