A mysterious track has surfaced on Spinnin Records soundcloud – a live rip from the recent Glastonbury festival where BBC Radio 1 bosses Pete Tong and Annie Mac did a special b2b set. Who do you think it is? The title font looks familiar…

Marking the start of an exciting new collaborative project, Wolf + Lamb proudly shared the debut release of The Waves & Us earlier this weekend. Formed out of a creative meeting of minds between Maayan Nidam, Markus Nikolaus and Louis McGuire, theirs is a sound that strengthens the storied approach of a live band with the experimental thrust of analogue electronics. My personal one to watch for this year is on a warpath of production and his newest creation doesn’t stray from that truth. The mysterious Parisian known as Tchami has spread his viral sound this year into some huge originals and remixes for the likes of Mercer, AlunaGeorge, Oliver and more. Today he dropped a preview to his forthcoming original “Untrue” and it is on another level of feels. I’ll just stop talking and you can just listen below…
WMC – Don’t miss Tchami @ HARD Miami!
Just earlier today, the queen Annie Mac debuted the new Jack Beats original “Beatbox” on her BBC Radio 1 show. We’re happy to hear another deeper groove from Beni G and Plus One, this one is favored for the club. Expect to hear this at SXSW and WMC, as it’s set for a March 18th release on the LA collective imprint OWSLA. Listen below and be on the lookout!
Porchester Hall in London yielded three sold out shows for trance trio Above & Beyond where they performed acoustic versions of their original productions for sold out audiences, some set to be released on their upcoming project. Based off the London performance’s success, two special Los Angeles performances have been slated for Oct 13th and 14th. Those who follow A&B on facebook saw that the historic Greek Theater has been chosen as the home for this special performance. Along with the announcement of venue, a one minute preview of “Love Is Not Enough” was released to quell anticipations of what an acoustic set could bring.
Australia’s RÜFÜS have released a preview for the first single off their upcoming debut record, ATLAS, packed with all the essential down under vibes that have boosted their name into the dance music scene. If this jazzy driving dance tune is any indication as to what the finished album will sound like, the sounds of summer will be bottled up perfectly in 11 track fashion. For those who want more than just the anticipatory snippet, “Sundream” is available in it’s entirety for those who pre-order their freshmen LP on iTunes although the U.S. store does not currently carry the project yet.
