Our now Amsterdam-based Canadian familiar Poupon just dropped his debut release on Sweat It Out’s Club Sweat label and it is a vibe machine. “Want It All” pairs the melodic vocals of Alicia Keys with a deep driven bassline and the product is baby making house at its best. Listen below and grab it today on iTunes!
Toronto’s Poupon was called upon to remix the theme song from the new computer animated film Rio 2. The remix EP just dropped this week on Atlantic records, and the prospect of doing a remix for a big label/children’s movie might seem a bit daunting, but Poupon stayed true to his guns and smashed it with sophisticated vocal chops, warm keys and classy low-end to keep it knocking. You can pick up the release on Beatport or iTunes.
The only ones not complaining about the brutal cold felt in most of North America are the producers who’d normally be stuck inside regardless of weather conditions. So for Canadian music makers Prince Club & Poupon, they’re getting along just fine. They’ve teamed up once again to freshen up Route 94’s anthem My Love with a remodeled bassline and energized percussion hits. While they hunkered down in the studio, they informed us that they’ve also finished a new EP which they’re presently shopping out to labels. Grab the free download below and be on the lookout for their new tracks.
