This week brings one of the biggest dance tunes of the moment into Willy’s sights. Porter Robinson and Mat Zo‘s “Easy” gets a total makeover from the ground up. The sample sounds more wistful here, but when Willy’s remix drops, the tune turns into pure bliss. Giant waves of bass wash up against slippery synths and sharp percussion. After an insanely successful b2b Poseidon tour with Zedd this fall, young superstar, Porter Robinson, is back with a new mini-tour of North America called Circle Assembly — hitting 4 of the largest markets on the continent in the first 2 weeks of February.

After providing her angelic vocal chords on Skrillex’s ‘All I Ask Of You’ and monumental live performances alongside Porter Robinson, the “lost boy alien” known as pennybirdrabbit has finally completed her debut solo Treehouse EP, available for FREE download to all the fans. This weekend, The Wynn in Las Vegas is hosting Porter Robinson‘s official birthday celebration with two epic DJ sets. Porter will be spinning Saturday, July 14th at Surrender followed by a pool party on Sunday, July 15th at the Encore Beach Club. The 19 (almost 20) year old sensation has become famous for keeping his crowds going with a fresh twist on EDM and has already spun at many of the world’s best music festivals such as Coachella and the Electric Daisy Carnival.
His residency at the Wynn is the perfect excuse to make it out to Vegas with some friends this weekend! Tickets for these events can be purchased at surrendernightclub.com and encorebeachclub.com and run at $30 for girls and $40 for guys.

As some of you may or may not know, we’ve started up a new project here at GDD™, bringing in a video element to the brand called GDD.tv. Our team (big shout out to Alex, Laura D + KMOC) was hard at work out in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago; locking down interviews with some of the scene’s best musicians that were out in the desert for the biggest dance music festival in North America. About an hour ago Electro wunderkind and GDD™ fav Porter Robinson posted on his Facebook that he’d be giving away one of his patented live edits once the post reached 400 shares. Those edits, until now, have been reserved only for him and those witnessing one of his sets in the flesh.
