Stockholm’s John Andersson– aka Zoo Brazil, is one of dance music’s most underrated and innovative producers and already boasts a back catalogue of more than a hundred singles under various aliases. His DJ performances all over the world are highly acclaimed, and now he presents his first-ever mix compilation to show the world what a Zoo Brazil live mix experience stands for. As the title suggests, “Songs For Clubs” is a powerful and club aimed mix of fifteen stellar tech-house tracks that features Nic Fanciulli, Joris Voorn, Super Flu, Love Girls, Format B and remixes by Popof and Tocadisco. Grab the mix below, as well as some of the must have tunes!
This week marked the official start of summer, and what better way to welcome my next mix – dedicated the almighty festival season and of course the infamous 3 month vacation that all you people know and love. I’m sure most of you will be hitting the road to Las Vegas this weekend for the big one, so this is your goto firestarter for the road trip ahead. For all those otherwise, pump this at work, while you’re pre-gaming before going to the Avalon (or our VERSUS party), stuck in not cool traffic, or when the DJ you booked for your ‘glow’ party just ain’t bringin it. Welcome to summer my dirty dancers, get after it.
LDNA heads up for all you UK based dirty dancers, this Friday our friends over at Potty Mouth Disco are hosting another of their legendary warehouse parties in East London, and this time around they’ve two rooms on the go, with a stonking lineup. Headlining room 1 is Marseilles tech-house sensation Julian Jeweil, who’s signed to Popof‘s Form label, and has been kicking up mad heat lately, particularly for his huge tune ‘Polaroid’. Joining him in room one will be Alex Smoke and Turbo Recordings‘ Sei A, while residents from Data Transmission along with Kitsune‘s Tape to Tape head up the second room. This one’s set to go off, so get down early to avoid disappointment.
We have a pair of passes to giveaway for the show this Friday, and they’ll go to the first person to email their name to: firstname.lastname@example.org – it’s really that simple!
Event info, and a live mix Julian Jeweil recorded for PottyMouthDisco are to come after the jump…
