I’m sure we can all agree on the respect and appreciation of artists that are pioneering new frontiers in dance music. My latest music discovery, a visionary rising star from Isreal that goes by the name Maor Levi, is doing just that. The lines between genres continue to blur, and Maor is responsible for taking trance on the ride of a lifetime by incorporating a much heavier dubstep and electro-influenced style fit for massive main stage sound systems. With support from the likes of Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Arty, and Mark Knight, among many others, it’s clear that we have something truly special on our hands. Hear what Maor can do for yourself, grab the free download below, and check out two other stellar remixes after the jump. Also, be on the look out for the start of his new monthly podcast, “MOAR Bass.”

Santa Barbara’s Seven Lions has been catapulted into the spotlight in 2012, with remixes for Above & Beyond and Tritonal charting everywhere from Beatport to Hype Machine — carrying the torch for the Progressive Dubstep sound that he has become so widely known for. Seemingly fitting hand-in-glove, Seven Lions was given the task of remixing Paul van Dyk‘s “I Don’t Deserve You” off of Paul’s 6th album, Evolution — one of seven remixes for the acclaimed single that will be released as an EP later this month on PvD’s Vandit Records. Get the exclusive download below, and read on for the amazingly well-produced, post-apocalyptic music video that accompanies PvD’s vision for the remix.

From the moment I heard all the details about Insomniac’s latest party, White Wonderland, I knew it was something I had to check out for myself. Up until the moment I actually stepped foot into the Anaheim Convention Center, I was not really sure what to expect. I did not actually believe that Insomniac could pull off a 21+, white party, in Orange County of all places. I am pleased to report back they proved me wrong on all fronts.
