Our bud, Yuksek, just dropped off an amazing compilation album off of his label Partyfine. We knew it was going to be good, but this is beyond excellent. The parisians are making quite amazing tunes right now, and the summertime is when they shine. The album feels great all the way through, housing a great collection of tunes, showcasing what makes this label truly special. Spot on!

Last week we were able to chat with Yuksek about his relatively new imprint, Partyfine, which he described as “an eco-system…some musical artists that collaborate with mixers, remixers, producers who work themselves with other people and visual artists, designers…it’s really exciting.” This description couldn’t be more accurate for the 5th release on the Reims-based label, as Black Yaya (aka Herman Dune & David Ivar) worked with Yuksek in producing this record before calling upon a community of friends and fellow artists to take a stab at a remix package.

Power duo, Peter (aka Yuksek) & The Magician, are back with a new EP released today on the new label run by Yuksek called Partyfine. Following up their previous two EPs, Twist in 2011 and Memory in 2012, On My Brain once again shows the studio synergy between the two producers. Featuring two originals and a dub version of the title track, On My Brain makes me wish these guys released more than one EP a year. Preview the title track here, stream the EP on Spotify, and pick it up on iTunes.
