Muchachos and Senoritas, we are proud to present the first official release of our own Troy Kurtz, alongside his Overthrow brother Damaged Goods. If you’re a tropical, rave, moombahton fan – or just a fan of the Cabo San Lucas sleaze in those dirty clubs (you know what I mean), then boy do we have a treat for chu. We are premiering to you the exclusive 320 download, so break out the tanning oil, chips & salsa, and the 2 for 1 cervezas because its time to CABO FUEGO. ¡Aye, Tan Sucia!

Troy Kurtz & Damaged Goods – Cabo Fuego (Original Mix) by Troy Kurtz

This year during Ultra/Miami Music Week, we had so much fun in all of our experiences each day that it took us this long to gather our thoughts and reviews for what turned out to be one roller coaster of a trip. But needless to say, it was heaven on earth going back and forth from Downtown Miami to South Beach, seeing some of the best and most exclusive lineups that we’ll see all year. We’ll get down to brass tacks with what we did and the best performances we saw, our personal experiences, along with a bunch of nutty photos, videos, and finally some huge new tunes and live mixes from UMF for you kids to salivate over.

Over the next few days, we’ll be posting all the vital information to the events that we’ll be throwing in Miami next week for Miami Music Week. Once again, we’ve teamed up with OVERTHROW for the official unofficial closing party of Ultra 2011. And yes, it’s at a full nude stripclub called Gold Rush. And yes, Miami badman and multiple DMC champ Craze, along with ATL trenchstep dude Heroes x Villains, along with a bunch of other DJs including GDD’s own BONES and myself will be playing everything from Juvenile to Joker. Pre-sale tix are $10 and you must be 21 to see the tata’s. Infamous photographer Bronques of lastnightsparty.com will be capturing the debauchery, so if you drink too much and forget what the stripper who gave you a lap-dance looked like, we’ll have documentation.

I’ll leave you with a good idea of what will be happening as featured in Caligula‘s music video for their track ‘Light in the Dark’ off their EP titled ‘The Rise

Oh, and there’s probably gonna be some Moombahton in there too.

Bad to the bone Boston dudes Hot Pink Delorean have blasted back with their snow-thawing EP ‘Club Crashers’ on Overthrow Music Authority. Never ones to play it safe, the trio delivers four tracks that you’ll most likely put into your peak party-time Serato crate. Go snag the EP at Beatport.

Hot Pink Delorean – Club Crashers (Caligula Remix)

A couple months back, I introduced you to Miami’s newest dubstep threat, Caligula. They ended up winning the ‘M.I.A. – Steppin’ Up’ remix competition outright and were treated to a few days in the Red Bull studio in LA working on their upcoming EP due out this Fall on the OVERTHROW record label. I have two of their most recent remixes. One pays homage to Miami’s most notorious janitor Rick Ross, and the other is their submission for Klever and Kill The Noise’s ‘Tuff as Nails’ remix competition. Both are enough to keep you buzzing through this Monday.

With all the talent that rolls through Miami on a regular basis, it was only a matter of time before studio time led to finished products. On behalf of OVERTHROW, I present Miami’s newest bassheavy talent – Caligula. The two part production outfit is comprised of Damaged Goods and Grand Larceny, and they are set to release their bangarang dubstep EP in early September. On their first official remix, they give a solid thrashing to M.I.A.‘s ‘Steppin’ Up’. Her naughty vocals alone will make even the most basic remixes sound proper, but Caligula’s rude bassline should hoist them fairly high up on the HARD remix competition. Decide for yourself.

Miami folk get bored. Like, really quickly. Which is why OVERTHROW is bringing 12th Planet BACK to your favorite rave cave, Whiteroom. Annie Mac was quoted as saying that he was THE guy to see at WMC, which is why I’ll see you Saturday night on the dancefloor all sweaty and smiling. Tickets are $10 pre-sale, but the first two to email troy@theoverthrow.com your full name and the grimiest tune you wish to hear will get in F R E E.

Dave Nada – Apocalypse Theme (12th Planet & Flinch Remix)
Kelly Dean & Steady – Teflon ft. Kemst (Datsik & Excision Remix)

Wonderkid and Miami resident SonicC will be joining myself and Damaged Goods this Saturday along with the Overthrow badboys at Whiteroom for your usual dollop of misbehaving and degeneracy. Pre-sale tickets are $10. For reduced admission at the door, say the magic word ‘overthrow’ to save you some shekels. And since I’m feeling frisky, the first two people to email troy@theoverthrow.com will pay nothing because your precious first and last name will be on my list. One last thing, I’ll be bringing a bundle of GDD stickers for you to slap all over dade county, so come get some. *tix have been won*

Full nudity. Check. 24 Hours. Check. Booty shakin’ bass. Check. If you’re making the trek to Miami for WMC next week, and have managed to survive come Sunday, then it would be in your best interest to grab a handful of singles and groove on over to GOLDRUSH on March 28. We’re teaming up with the bad boys of OVERTHROW, and headlining the event will be Miami’s heaviest hitter Craze and fellow Slow Roast Recs member Kill The Noise, as well as GDD DJ’s ///BONES and yours truly. Pre-sale tickets are $25, so email events@theoverthrow.com to get your fine self sorted.

Why am I leaving the comfort of 75 degree Miami weather for the arctic tundra (aka Toronto) — because I know you Canadians love to get dirty, of course! Thursday night we’ll be terrorizing a little soiree known as ‘dance like you fuck’ and Friday night we’ll be getting all kinds of mega at MOD. Hope to see you there! Stalk THE OVERTHROW on twitter and feel free to throw snowballs at us if you can. Just be prepared for our retaliation.
