Today, Fool’s Gold Records have put out three new remixes of A-Trak & Dillon Francis‘ “Money Makin'” — the feel good summertime jam released back in May. The trio of reworks hit the original from all angles; starting out with a Trap take from Oliver Twizt which adds some big time bass, high hats, and pitched down vocals. Barjo & Alban Lipp go all Electro, readying “Money Makin'” for a big room. Finally, 45 King gets comical — adding in some hilarious samples and a funky background beat. Buy the release on Beatport and stream all 3 remixes below. Continue Reading

Our buddies PeaceTreaty have constructed a massive new mix for you guys, reflecting their transformation this year into a big room monster. With the success and huge support of their remixes, the PT boys are on the rise to becoming the new school for festival music, and there’s no end in sight. Check out their remix for Moby which was released this week, along with their remix for Diplo & Oliver Twizt which is due out next week! Oh, and if your wondering where the track list for the mix is, they didn’t unveil it because there are just too many unreleased gems in there. It’s up to you to figure it out!

Check out more of PeaceTreaty’s tracks, upcoming shows and news:

Yesterday, our boys Josh & Angelo from PeaceTreaty sent us over a pair of previews of their upcoming remixes that will be hitting Beatport in the next couple of weeks, and we are impressed as usual. The first track is a hot n’ heavy new take on Moby‘s ‘After,’ complete with a light synthy Big Room build and a heavy bassline drop that I can’t wait to hear on some professional speakers. Already gaining support from Steve Angello, Hardwell, and Tommy Trash, this remix will be released on Moby’s Lil Idiot Records on Monday, October 31st. The second remix on our plate is Diplo & Oliver Twizt‘s ‘Go,’ and personally, I can really hear the always-improving PeaceTreaty signature sound in this one. This EP will be released on Mad Decent on November 8th, and you probably have heard it played out already by some people you may have heard of: Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Afrojack, Chuckie, and Mr. Aoki. Keep ’em coming fellas!

What’s up my fellow dirty dancers, I hope your weekend is treating you as well as it is treating me.  This has been a great week in music, whether your in Miami or not (and if you are, I want you to know I hate you a little bit).  Anyways, I was very honored when FuzZ, Avedon and Zedex all decided to contribute to this weeks dirt! From complex IDM to French House, the three artists certainly differ in their sound, but not their unmistakable talent.  With a wide range of songs to choose from on this weeks dirt, there is certainly something for all of you.  So without further ado, myself, Fuzz, Avedon and Zedex present this week’s dirt after the jump!

*Check out the exclusive tracks from Fuzz, Zedex & St. Andrew!

Always a tad late, but that makes it more exciting right!? Haha, this summer has got me hooked on a lot of different styles, and this mix should hopefully boast that. Most of these are in my dj set as of now, as well as some unreleased heaters you dirty dancers are gonna go tits bananas for. I also get into my ‘tropical-midget’ house hobbying towards the end of the mix, with some great grooves and jungle jams as well. So wherever you are this summer, break that sweat to this over-an-hour mix (my longest one to date), and get ready to be attacked by bass in yo face and then brought into the raver village for smooth sailing… for the most part.

Holler and tell me what your fav track is on the mix, will yah?

Deep breath. You’re almost there. Well, once you clear the rush hour traffic and take your dog to relieve himself, then you can practically taste that first cocktail of what’s sure to be an eventful weekend. I might be a bit of hypocrite for doing this as I generally don’t post a mishmash of different songs by different bros, but for some reason I’m feeling all kinds of sprightly today. *wanky ‘highly recommend’ sidebar to download all tracks*

Treasure Fingers – What Am I Supposed to Do
Just nabbed this brand new discoball destroyer from Treasure Fingers over at THE FADER. I think Craze just said it best via twitter today “this tune will help you get laid”. Either that, or be on your way to a triple digit bar tab.

Duck Sauce – The Motion
The aftermath of WMC left piles of ash and a mouthful of rumors swirling about Miami like the winds after a hurricane. However, many legitimate sources said Duck Sauce played the set of the entire conference at the Fools Gold Showcase. Two words: Barbara Streisand.

Gucci Mane – Lemonade (White Lions Remix)
You’ve heard of Gucci Mane. You haven’t heard of White Lions. Remember Sean Roman? He’s in a little side-project with some fellow Canadians that form this housey/disco outfit. The best part of this song: they stripped the cheese and added a crispy topping of groove.

Oliver Twizt – Another Step (Original Mix)
Another talented Dutch producer, however, you won’t find any bleepy car alarms in this Oliver Twizt tune. Loving the Aretha Franklin inspired minimal/house. Suited for late night no pants dance at your place after the disco.
