The ever-groovy Russ Chimes released the well-received House track, “Back 2 You,” on the Positiva imprint at the end of July via Beatport, and now the single is slated for a September 17th release on Positiva/Virgin which will feature a bundle of new remixes — including this incredibly tasteful rework from Leeds producer, Hot Since 82. With tracks already released on Moda Black, Noir, Defected, and now this superb remix for Virgin, Hot Since 82 should be a name you’ll be seeing more of in coming months. √+

For the late afternoon starts to the late nights to the early mornings– here’s what gets us up, gets us going, gets us through the deepest of LA weekends.
A few days ago we brought to your attention GDD homie Danny Daze‘s deeper than deep new tune ‘If This,’ which is currently sitting pretty at #27 on the Beatport Deep House chart. Last week, via The Dirt, myself and SNEEVS brought you a tasty James Blake edit by a little double-dose of vixen known as Blond:ish. What we’ve failed to do, until now, is point out that Blond:ish and Danny just released on the same compilation, Second Chances and New Romances, Vol. 3, on Noir Music. The 7-track compilation features solid efforts all around, and I can’t recommend enough just picking up the whole thing.
Hover over the artwork above to have a listen to the Blond:ish ft. Ted Alexander tune from the comp, which came out Monday, and then head over to Beatport and do yourself a favor and grab it in it’s entirety here on Beatport.
