JULIEN-K: WE’RE HERE WITH YOU REMIX EP + INTERVIEW + FREE SHAROOZ RMX

Yesterday marked the official release of the Remix EP from Julien-K’s ground-breaking album “We’re Here With You” featuring remixes by the artists who collaborated on the original tracks including Sharooz, Black Asteroid, Benjamin Vial, Z-Listers, Vandal, and Neon Stereo. To tell us a little more about the EP and the blueprints behind the tunes, we were able to hear a quick interview with Amir Davidson (aka Circuit Freq) of Julien-K and artist Sharooz, whose remix we have for you as an exclusive FREE DOWNLOAD on GDD™!

Hot off his heels from his debut of shows in the US, our good buddy Neon Stereo has given us the greenlight to bring you 2 more exclusive remixes just in time for your NYE playlists. Following his monster bootleg of the this year’s Justice single, Neon Stereo takes two of his favorite tracks and slams them into electro overdrive. GDD™ presents CONTROL w/ Bart B More + Vandalism + Bones!

All-Star cast this week for CONTROL at the Avalon in Hollywood. Obviously, you all need to get your food + family time in tomorrow, but when Friday night rolls around, there’s no other party you should be at if you’re in Los Angeles. Bart B More, Vandalism, Slow Roast Recs rising talent Codes, Bones, and Neon Stereo will all be shakin’ off their turkey comas, so I suggest you be there to do the same.

JUSTICE – CIVILIZATION (NEON STEREO PRIVATE BOOTLEG)


Rolling along with the exclusives this week for you dirty dancers, I’m proud to present a very special remix premiere. With a big electro sound that’s been turning heads lately and a slew of remixes and releases on labels such as Ministry of Sound, Bugeyed and LOT49, Neon Stereo – Australia’s electro ambassador (who’s debut EP will drop later this month) delivers a big and dirty remix of the monster new single from Justice – ‘Civilization’. With the original’s recent release, I’ve been waiting for the first big room remix that delivers a pounding four-four kick that I can use in my club set, and finally we’ve got one. Neon Stereo’s remix packs a (Phantom Pt. 2-esque) punch and takes the Justice groove into a heavy and glitch driven frenzy. We have the exclusive download for you below, and you can preview the track underneath on the SoundCloud player.
