GDD™ Presents EDC Afterhours at CONTROL w/ Villains + ///BONES + Brazzabelle + Mr. White!

Los Angeles! The Electric Daisy Carnival is 2 days away and I’m sure you are all as stoked as I am. I hope you’ve all put together your best tight n’ bright outfits and stocked up on lazers and glowsticks because this Friday and Saturday are going to be big ones. You might think that CONTROL would take a night off on this magnificent Friday, but then you would be incorrect. This week CONTROL will be going super late night with Villains headlining supported by ///BONES, Brazzabelle, Mr. White, and Hi-Deaf. So after you walk out of the Coliseum at 2am with ringing in your ears and rave muck on your shoes, hop in a cab and cruise over to the Avalon to keep the music going. Set times will be as follows:
+9:30-11:45 Hi-Deaf
+11:45-1:00 Brazzabelle
+1:00-2:00 Mr. White
+2:00-3:30 Villains
+3:30-??? ///BONES (let’s do it biggggg all you late night weirdos!)

GDD™ Presents CONTROL at the Avalon w/ James Zabiela!

Sorry for the late post this week everybody, but as usual, we have a pretty wicked night planned for tomorrow. UK breakbeat/tech house DJ James Zabiela will whip out his CDJ2000 skills to headline the show, with support from Mr. White, the lovely Audrey Napoleon, and Anthony Ross (Grey Ghost).
The Legit Lounge will be going off this week with our good friends Serra (Long Beach) and iStatic (San Diego) getting their groove going in there. Come on down for a good time.

DANCEiSM 2 Year Anniversary!

IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN LA! This Saturday will be the 2 year anniversary of the LA Underground Dance Music and Art event like no other, known as DANCEiSM. The bigger of their events, this 2-Year Anniversary will feature the DANCEiSM crew DJs Sean Kim, Doc P (my home slice from shiftyrhythms), Robot Love, ASAA & SP, and of course, Ben Oprstu. This time they have invited me back to play at their big show, as well as our CONTROL Fridays top dog MR. WHITE. The warehouse this one is set to take place in is supposed to be way cleaner and nicer then previous, and will feature one massive stage with mind-fuck-boggling visuals by VJ Fader. Los Angeles, if your down for some great underground talent playing at the safest and closest thing to whichever you attend here in our lovely LA rave circuit ;)

GDD™ Presents CONTROL at the Avalon w/ Plump DJs, Nadastrom, Steve Aoki, and Mr. White!

Yes you are reading this flyer correctly. Plump DJs, Nadastrom, and Steve Aoki will all be performing at the Avalon in Hollywood this Friday. I don’t really feel like I need to over-exhaust this post with needless persuasion, so I won’t. If you’re in LA, I’m guessing I’ll see you there.

///BONES will be making his Legit Lounge debut this week so make sure you give your GDD™ DJ some love and come check out his set in the Honey Lounge he will definitely not disappoint.

GDD™ Presents The House Party at the Avalon w/ Zodiac Cartel + Will Bailey + Circuit Freq!

Sorry for the late post this week guys! We are having an unbelievable night tomorrow night with the amazing master of warehouse sound Zodiac Cartel, along with one half of new electro duo Bass Weazal, Will Bailey. Circuit Freq and Mr. White will both also be doing sets in the big room as to promote the new track “The Filth” which was remixed by all acts that will be in the Avalon tomorrow night. Check out all of the new remixes on Beatport. I have posted the Mr. White remix in this post if you want to check that one out for free :)

Tomorrow night all you dirty dancers that are over 21 will be entering through the Honey Lounge entrance which is the left side entrance if you are staring at the front of the Avalon. All you youngin’s still enter through the main entrance and there will be a GDD™ list there for you as well. We will not be doing The House Party room but rather we will be teaming up with our good friends at BBE and Everyday in the Legit Lounge to give you the best music experience possible. Bring your danceypants!

Craze in CONTROL!

Another Friday brings another huge act at the Avalon in Hollywood. CONTROL Fridays brings you three time solo DMC Champion DJ Craze to get absolutely nasty on the decks. Accompanying him will be the man who makes you ‘shake it to the ground’, DJ Blaqstarr. As always, CONTROL residents Mr. White and Destructo will be there early to warm things up while you’re sippin’ on your first, second, and third cocktails.

And just because I love you guys so much, I’m going to give away another pair of tickets. We’ll do it just like last week so whoever emails me first at jonahdancesdirty[at]gmail[dot]com will get ‘em. Fire away!
