Back again to hit you off with yet another tune getting heavy support from the dirtybird Records fam and more, this one has been a staple in the sets of everyone from Claude VonStroke to Flux Pavilion to Justin Jay recently.
Mr. Oizo’s seminal 1999 dance music anthem, Flat Beat, perked up the ears of an entire generation of talented young musicians to the sounds of Electro House. The track was made viral before viral existed by a clever Levi’s marketing campaign and a all-time classic music video featuring the above pictured Flat Eric (partaking in some nefarious activities GDD™ does not condone). Usually I’d recommend against tampering with such a well-known and universally beloved song, but the Leeds-based dynamo Aaron Snapes took a crack at this one and absolutely knocked it out of the park.
Get the track after the jump.
