The Presets get the Nu-Disco Treatment

Gotta Dance Dirty favorite Plastic Plates is back again. This time he puts his magic touch on The Presets  song “Promises” from their newest album Pacifica (Available Now). He carefully adds in that characteristic touch of indie dance & nu-disco keyboard that he is famous for.

It is definitely one of those tracks you cannot pass up on. It will be released on December 7th on Modular Records. I highly suggest you pick it up.

Fun Fact

Felix Bloxsom (Plastic Plates) used to be the drummer for The Presets for a short time in a early 3 man incarnation of the band.

More Plastic Plates

For those who dont know much about Plastic Plates. Here are a couple more tracks to check out. Let us know what you think!

Aussie quartet, Van She, announced their sophomore album, Idea Of Happiness, today with a summer release date set on Modular for July 10th, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. The band has come together for this album under the influence of good ol’ fashioned feel-goodery, and each track on the album is destined to evoke good vibes, sun-baked smiles, and an undeniable uplifting sense of audial delight. Shame we’ll have to wait until July for the full length, but the guys were kind enough to pass along the title track for us to hear this morning. Brodinski is an animal. Everything he touches seems to be the bounciest, dancey-ist tunes you can find — exemplified in his latest remix of Beni‘s ‘Last Night’ which premiered yesterday on RCRD LBL. ‘Last Night’ is the second track off of Beni’s amazing full length album, House of Beni, and it’s recently been given the remix treatment for an exciting EP release on Modular here in the US on May 1st, with remixes from Oliver $, Waifs & Strays, and this freebie from Brodi. Stream, download, and upcoming US tour dates below. √+ Continue Reading
