I’ll be the first to admit I’m usually hesitant about an artists first release. I cling to the familiar, like all humans with a subconscious mind do. However, newcomer to the scene and LA local Mad Owl froze over (terrible pun) any hesitance I may have with his new track Glacier, out now on Le Castle Vania’s label, Always Never.

No Brainer Records boss, Malente, teamed up with Zero Cash of Television Rocks for a 2-track EP released the other week titled, I’ll Be There. At first glance, you might think that the title track would have a sentimental, Avicii-type sound, but there’s just no way Malente would go for that. On the contrary, the EP is a fantastic convergence of Electro and Techno, and our buddies known as Light Year add a fantastic Acid flair to it that hits the spot.
