A massive 12 song compilation dropped today compliments of Moda Black. The roster of artists appearing in the package is a dream-team of rising stars like Disclosure, Eats Everything, Nick Monaco, and Kill Frenzy. I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite out of the bunch, as the tunes vary from the deep house camp over to the peak-time warehouse vibe. Expect to hear a fair bit of this compilation this summer, especially since Moda Black’s label heads are none other than BBC1′s Jaymo & Andy George. Pick up a copy on iTunes or Amazon. London based dirty dancers we’ve got some exciting news: After a £1million facelift, Brixton’s legendary venue formerly known as The Fridge is re-opening, this time as Electric Brixton. The club launches on Saturday 24th September, with sets from Felix Da Housecat, DJ Hell, Hannah Holland, JoJo De Freq, Tom Starr, and Keith & Supabeatz. UK party monsters, Moda, will be releasing their first compilation next Monday, May 23rd featuring music from Moda artists Jaymo & Andy George, Toy Tigers, and Tom Staar, as well as some fantastic new tracks from other world-class artists (check the tracklist below).
