At the tender age of 19, XO has begun a budding career as a multi-faceted producer, songwriter, and DJ out of the UK. His sound, forward; his lyrics, relateable; vibes, on point. It’s exactly what I’ve come to expect out of the UK at the moment, illustrious coupled basslines with diverse percussive arrangements that accentuate the featured vocalist. For his debut EP, “Through The Night,” a three track feature takes place with a credible range of tunes from sultry sub-soul to to hustling UK garage that is reassuring for his Freshmen release. Warning: this will make you feel some type of way. As if my obsession with this track couldn’t get any more real, MNEK had to go and drop the four on the floor, insert an unmerciful amount of piano, and let his talented vocals run rampant on the track. Love Tensnake

March 7th couldn’t come quickly enough. The 66th day of 2014 will bring the release of the mighty Tensnake‘s debut album, Glow, which will host what we’re hoping to be some of the best House and Disco of the year. Collaborating with legends like Stuart Price and Nile Rodgers, along with vocal offerings from MNEK, Fiora, and more to be announced, Glow should be one of the most anticipated releases in the month leading up to Miami.

The second taste of the record has been offered up today via Soundcloud in the form of “Love Sublime” — the nostalgic collaboration between Tensnake, Rodgers, and Fiora. It’s a sing-along jam that definitely buries it’s roots in decades past. A remix EP is set for release in advance of the album release, with new renditions from Grammy-nominated Duke Dumont, Ewan Pearson, and Le Youth. Give it a listen below.
