This Monday will see the release of the highly anticipated debut album from longtime GDD™ favorites and Techno/Electro mavens, Mumbai Science, on Lektroluv Records. The Belgian duo follow up years of quality releases like “Ancova,” “Gold,” and “Impact” with eleven new tracks under the guise of Deja Vu, staying true to their initial inspirations while allowing the lenient album format to let them color outside the lines a bit.
In advance of the record release next week, the guys have answered a few questions about Deja Vu and also kindly given us first listen on their slamming collaboration with Mixhell which definitely feels like a refreshing throwback to the late 2000s with a well-executed, converging rock meets electro vibe. Listen to “Vegas” and get some insight on the new album below.
What’s up GDD readers? This last weekend I (Tre) put together a mix for all of you that features a plethora of different artists and styles. Get ready to get dark and groovy with this one folks, hope ya dig!
*Also, be on the lookout for Charles I and my upcoming EP.

Pay attention kiddos, big tunes ahead! In this week’s edition of “The Dirt,” we are proud to present the incredibly talented, Linus Eklow, aka Style of Eye. The Stockholm native is known for his eclectic sound, which stylistically utilizes a fresh blend of techno, house and a healthy dose of raw, grinding electro. He has had a considerable amount of success with releases on Dirtybird Records, whom you’ll recall from the from Claude VonStroke/Justin Martin CONTROL at Avalon last Friday. With support from some of dance music’s biggest names (John Dahlback, Tiga, and Swedish House Mafia to name a few), Style Of Eye is on track to fulfilling DJ Mag’s prediction of becoming an “Important Future Star.” We predict he will continually blow us away with innovative productions, pumping DJ sets and generally just being a really cool guy. Most of these are unreleased or brand new so read more for streams of his top tracks with my commentary after the jump…
It’s time to unleash the fucking Dada once again at CONTROL in Hollywood this Friday. The Swedish party boys have had quite a weekend in the Southland already the past few days, with appearances at both the Heaven & Hell event in San Diego and Sutra in Newport Beach, but they will be heading up the 405 to play this Friday alongside a quartet of serious supporting talent including Boy 8 Bit, Huoratron, Paparazzi, and ///BONES.
