To celebrate the 4th day of our GDD advent calendar, we’ve teamed up with Wooha! Records to bring you a huge exclusive from dutch duo Mightyfools. The recent release of their BITCHES EP on Wooha has gained massive support from the likes of Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Skream & Benga, and The Partysquad. However, they’ve been keeping a VIP trap remix to themselves… UNTIL TODAY – for us to give to you!
Utrecht-based Dem Slackers is riding this wave of dance music explosion like a champ. The dude has had releases on the world’s top dance music imprints including Tiesto‘s Musical Freedom, Dim Mak, and most recently Ultra Music, and word on the streets is that he just finished his latest EP less than a week ago. I suppose we’ll see where that one ends up. On top of his consistent release schedule, Dem Slackers will be starting up a brand new radio show and will be heading up a HUGE showcase night at ADE this year alongside Style of Eye, Mightyfools, and more. With all of this going on, he still had time to put together a pumping Electro House mix exclusively for us here at GDD™. Stream + download below and tracklist after the jump!
Bouncing back on the scene, LA based brothers Breakdown have just released their new massive single “Remember Me” on Vicious recordings, featuring anthemic (Rob Swire-esque) vocals from Jay Jacobs. The EP comes strapped with explosive remixes from dutch duo Mightyfools and big room contender Ken Loi, giving you a trifecta of main stage potential . Check them out below, and go support Brekadown on Beatport!
With the word ‘massive’ being used quite frivolously these days (guilty), there are some high expectations for an eponymous EP release. Yesterday, Italian Electro dons, Crookers, released the remixes for the Massive EP out on Potty Mouth Records, and we give two massive thumbs up. With 3 originals from Phra and Bot and 4 remixes from TJR & Anthony Wolf, Magik Johnson, Santiago & Bushido, and Mightyfools, this is a must-grab release from the Los Angeles label. Pick it up on Beatport now and enjoy this remix of ‘Massive’ from our pal TJR and newcomer Anthony Wolf.
Still riding the recent chart-topping success of ‘One Love’, TJR delivers again with another massive re-creation of the hip-hop anthem ‘California Love.’ The track was officially released today on Pop Rox Muzik, an LA/NY label known for their big room electro house cross-over sound. California Love was recently debuted on BBC Radio 1 by Dirty Dutch kingpin Chuckie, and has already gained massive support from Fatboy Slim, Chris Lake, Mightyfools, and Loose Cannons. Think you’re excited about it already? In celebration of the release, we have teamed up with Pop Rox and TJR to give you 2 versions of the track exclusively on GDD – for FREE.

Back for the third time, Mightyfools will cross the ocean for a full-on USA tour. Having just rocked the Winterfresh Festival in downtown L.A., they are sure to set many dancefloors on fire again. Their last trips to the continent they showed the world that they were here to stay, making four appearances at WMC 2010 (and destroying it), with a second succesful club tour attached. Now, with the new Tonight / Super Summer EP holding steady positions in the Beatport and Dance-Tunes.com charts, and after many gigs in Australia and Europe at prestigious events like Mysteryland Festival, Sensation White, Creamfields UK, Dirty Dutch and many more, the Mightyfools will once again give the States stunning and energetic performances in the best clubs around.
They’ve sent us over their ‘Go USA Again’ mix to mark their return the States, so get ready for a taste of what’s to come when the Dutch duo arrives.

Think the dutch are only known for the car alarm riffs? Ahem. Guess again. Hailing from Utrecht, Netherlands comes Boemklatsch (try to say that out loud and remember playing 007 Goldeneye). They fuse electro, house, hiphop, bassline and dubby, and boy is the product a real treat. Are they new kids on the block? No sir. These boys have been throwing parties for years, Djing and having big time acts come from across the globe, and now have started their own record label. Why should you care? Because they’ve signed Mightyfools, Dem Slackers and Gtronic just to name a few. Here’s a few chunes to get you acquainted. It would be in your best interests to grab ALL of these right meow. And be on the lookout for these ruffians. Over and out.
The New York based multi talented electro producer Udachi has just released his spring mix a couple days ago, and its absolutely stellar. His production is crisp and his song selection is on point.
