Midnight Conspiracy and The Chaotic Good have come together to form Autograf, an emerging act that is building a strong presence with a soulful style of future bass that is uniquely their own. Through remixing the likes of French Horn Rebellion, Marvin Gaye, and Amtrac, they’ve been gaining recognition across the blogosphere with Hype Machine chart success as they develop their anticipated original productions. Autograf now brings us a vibey new guest mix including an unreleased original song and Stevie Wonder remix, as well as a tasteful selection of tracks from Sweater Beats, Shadow Child, MK, Cyril Hahn, and more.

In our 2010 Roundup, the good Dr. Schlongo & I included a section in our post entitled “Big in 2011: The Sounds of the Future”, which listed artists we predicted would have monster 2011s. One band included on that list (and delivering thus far on our prediction) are dance rockers Glasnost. Glasnost are releasing their new single, “Corridor”, via Robot Dance Records this week and the single includes a superior trio of remixers: Midnight Conspiracy, NightWaves & Kids at the Bar. They’ll also be doing live shows @ at SXSW, so if you are gettin’ down at SXSW this year, be sure to catch them here.
Along with “Corridor” and the remixes below, be sure to go onto their Soundcloud and check out the stellar lineup of remixes Glasnost has done for Metric, Tiga, La Roux and many others (the Rick James one is super dope). After the tuneage, meet the band and check out the interview…
The hometown heroes known as The Crystal Method are coming back to the Avalon once again this Friday along with the windy city trio, Midnight Conspiracy, who have been kicking up a lot of dust recently with their repertoire of remixes; most notably the ‘Night By Night’ remix they did for Chromeo a few months back. Always a good show when The Crystal Method plays out in LA (especially for a two hour set), so come spend your Friday with us.
